    Grade 12 BIOLOGY PRACTICALS 2022-23

    RECORD BOOK
    List of experiments for Semester I
    Write down what has been marked by me from the Comprehensive Lab Manual
    in Biology - Class XII
    1. Isolation of DNA
    2. Study of Pollen germination
    3. Study of Gamete development – T.S. of Testes and V.S. of Ovary
    4. Study of Blastula
    5. Study of Adaptations of Flowers for Pollination
    6. Pedigree Charts of Genetic Traits
    7. Study of Meiosis in Grasshopper Testis

    IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS:
    1. DO NOT write anything in the INDEX ( We will fill it in the Lab
    during our practical sessions with dates)
    2. Please note all Diagrams will be drawn on the blank page i.e- LHS
    All written work will be on the ruled page on the RHS. Please ensure
    that the diagrams drawn coincide with the points or sub-headings on
    the RHS.
    3. Avoid drawing more than 2 figures on one page. So accordingly please
    plan your written work. (Eg Adaptations for pollen germination – there is
    wind, insect and bird pollination. Please space that over 2 pages)

    4. Follow the same order of writing the experiments as given above.

    5. While writing -Heading/ Title of Expt follow the same headings given
    above.
