‫‪New Connection/Additional Load Application‬‬

‫‪Terms and Conditions:‬‬ ‫الشروط و األحكام‪:‬‬
‫‪1. Kilo Watt charges and connection charges are to be determined by‬‬ ‫‪ .1‬تحديــد رســوم التوصيــل واألحمــال بواســطة الشــركة ويتعيــن أن‬

‫‪4. All the electrical work must be carried out by DCRP registered‬‬ ‫‪ .4‬جميــع التســليكات الكهربائيــة يجــب أن تتــم عــن طريــق الشــركات‬
‫‪contractor/MEDC license holders.‬‬ ‫المقاولــة التابعــة لشــركة مســقط لتوزيــع الكهربــاء والفنييــن أو‬
‫المهندســين حاملــي رخصــة مزاولــة األعمــال صــادرة مــن شــركة‬
‫مســقط لتوزيــع الكهربــاء‪.‬‬

‫‪5. Applicant must not supply current to any other person.‬‬ ‫‪ .5‬إلتزام مقدم الطلب بعدم توصيل التيار إلى مستهلك آخر‪.‬‬

‫‪6. If there is account create in same plot in less than a year the exists‬‬ ‫‪ .6‬إذا كان فــي قطعــة األرض عــداد ســابق لــم يمــر عليــه ســنة‪ ،‬ســيتم‬
‫‪load will be added to the new requested load for the Kilo Watt fees.‬‬ ‫احتســاب األحمــال الموجــودة فــي العــداد الســابق إضافــة إلــى األحمــال‬
‫المطلوبــة‪.‬‬

‫‪7. The customer is responsible on all the electricity consumption on‬‬ ‫‪ .7‬يتحمــل المشــترك جميــع اإللتزامــات الناشــئة مــن إســتهالك التيــار‬
‫‪the exits tariff; it is incumbent upon the customer to familiarize‬‬ ‫طبقــا للتعرفــة الســارية‪ ،‬وعلــى المشــترك أن يلــم بفئــات التعرفــة‬
‫‪himself with the tariff slabs according to the use of the property.‬‬ ‫طبقــا للنشــاط المســتخدم للعقــار‪.‬‬

‫‪8. Settlement of the electricity consumption must be within 30days‬‬ ‫‪ .8‬المشــتهلك مســؤول عــن دفــع مســتحقات اإلســتهالك فــي األماكــن‬
‫‪at the payment channel approved by MEDC from the date of‬‬ ‫المرخــص لهــا فــي قبــول الفواتيــر الصــادرة مــن الشــركة وذلــك فــي‬
‫‪issuing the bill any delay in payment can cause the account to get‬‬ ‫خــال (‪ )30‬يــوم مــن تاريــخ إســتحقاقه وأي تأخيــر فــي الدفــع يعــرض‬

‫‪9. The customer must inform MEDC of any additional load required.‬‬ ‫‪ .9‬إعالم الشركة في حالة إضافة أحمال إضافية‪.‬‬

‫‪10. The customer shall allow access at all reasonable times to MEDC’s‬‬ ‫‪ .10‬علــى المشــترك أن يســمح لموظفــي الشــركة أو المقاولــون بدخــول‬
‫‪employee or contractors for the execution of their duty for the‬‬ ‫مقره‪/‬مســكنه فــي األوقــات المناســبة لتنفيــذ مــا يعهــد إليهــم مــن‬
‫‪purpose of maintaining, inspecting or reading the meter.‬‬ ‫أعمــال الصيانــة أو التفتيــش أو فحــص العــداد أو قــراءة العــداد‪.‬‬

‫‪11. The customer is responsible to keep the meter in safe custody; in‬‬ ‫‪ .11‬المشــترك مســؤول عــن ســامة العــداد ويتحمــل أي غرامــات تفــرض‬
‫‪case of any tempering with the meter a penalty will be applied.‬‬ ‫عليــه فــي حالــة العبــث‪.‬‬

‫‪12. The company is not liable for damages that could cause property‬‬ ‫‪ .12‬الشــركة غيــر مســؤولة عــن األضــرار التــي يمكــن ان تلحــق بالعقــار‬
‫‪returns the lightning, fire, storms, floods or any similar incidents.‬‬ ‫نتيجــة الصواعــق‪ ،‬الحريــق‪ ،‬العواصــف‪ ،‬الفيضانــات أو أي حــوادث‬
‫مشــابهة‪.‬‬

‫‪13. To benefit from the Industrial tariff the customer must secure a‬‬ ‫‪ .13‬لالســتفادة مــن التعرفــة الصناعيــة يجــب الحصــول علــى رســالة‬
‫‪recommendation letter from the ministry of Commerce & Industry,‬‬ ‫تزكيــة مــن وزارة التجــارة والصناعــة وأن ال يقــل معامــل القــدرة عــن‬
‫‪and a power factor of not less than 0.9 all the times.‬‬ ‫‪ 0.9‬فــي جميــع األوقــات‪.‬‬

.‫حالة طلب المشترك طريقة أسرع فستقوم الشركة بتوفير عروض التمديد و التوصيل لكل طلب على حدة‬

Type of connection Charges for Connection Charges for KW

Small Load: Single phase = R.O 10/- NILL

If the connected load (0- 60) KW. Three Phase = R.O 40/-
Large Load connections: CT meter up to 500 KVA=R.O 200/- Commercial: 100% of the charges.
If the connected load is (60-2500) KW.
CT Meter more than 500 KVA=R.O 500/- Non Commercial: 50% of the charges.
Complex connections : CT Meter more than 500 KVA=R.O500/- * Customer will pay the full coasts of connections.
If the connected load is more than 2500
KW.
* In case the connection you applied for is of residential, the company will endeavor to incorporate your requirement into its network expansions
plans, however if you prefer faster approach you will be provided with a connection offers.

• Additional load charges and Kilo Watt charges to be determined
by MEDC and must be paid in full by the customer.
• A site visit to the property is applicable after the submission of the
application.
• All the electrical materials and work shall be as OES4- and MEDC
specification.
• The old meter will be inspected and in case of its faulty the account
will be recalculated.
• The Customer’s service cables and the new meter will be provided
by the customer and adopted by the company and will be then
under the property of the company.
• If the meter is inside the wall boundary, the customer has to
transfer the meter to the outside the boundary wall.

‫• ســيتم فحــص العــداد القديــم و فــي حالــة وجــود عطل ســيتم إعادة اإلحتســاب‬
.‫للعــداد القديم‬
‫• يتحمــل المشــترك تكاليــف كابــل الخدمــة و العــداد الجديــد بعــد الحصــول علــى‬
.‫موافقــة الشــركة عليهــا و بهدهــا تتبنــى الشــركة هــذه الكابــات و العــداد‬
‫• إذا كان موقــع العــداد داخــل المنــزل يتوجــب علــى المشــترك نقلــه إلــى الســور‬
.‫الخارجــي للمنــزل‬
