• Why these majors?

Computer Science: Computer science is one of the most innovative and intuitive majors that
also fit my academic interests and achievements. Ever since the invention of the first
programmable computer in 1936, the pure magic of computer science has not gone unnoticed.
It is unimaginable to live in a world bereft of the World Wide Web, mobile phones, DNA
testing, and even simulations used for predicting occurrences in our universe. Over the past
decade, the world witnessed the creative boom of artificial intelligence and just how much we
can benefit from its image, text, and even video generation even if at its infancy.

Physics: Physics, to me, is one of the most expansive subjects calling for a strong imagination
and the skills not just to uncover its many secrets, but to also apply them to our everyday lives.
By understanding our past, we are able to further develop our future.

Mathematics: Across history, mathematics has proven to be the infrastructure for all sciences.
Both computer science and physics crumble without their use of mathematics via intuitive
algorithms, problem-solving applications, statistics and probability, generating visuals, and
generating code. With it being the language of life, it is impossible not to have a burning
passion for it.

• My dream career
My dream career would be a programmer in hopes of aiding in the research and development
of modern-day technology and using major scientific breakthroughs to continuously expand
our computing abilities. I aspire to continuously reinvent the wheel with major scientific and
technological breakthroughs.

• In 10 years…

In ten years, I hope to become a programmer working to use the ever-expanding worlds of
computing and information technology to unlock the true potential of computer science and
its variety of real world applications. Through a wide array of programs, algorithms, and
simulations, I will be pushing the borders of our knowledge and using these progressions to
our benefits whilst also growing myself.
