Generalization

We realized so much after participating in the exercise, from curiosity to realization. The
human body is composed of tons of tissues with different functions and structures. It was a
challenging exercise, since gazing upon the compound microscope to examine genuine tissue
specimens from various organs was indeed difficult and took a lot of patience to be able to
see what you were looking for. But after all, it was all worth it and satisfying, because
knowing a lot of different tissues really gave us knowledge about tissues. Its goal was to
introduce students to the various types of tissues found in living beings. Moreover, with a
microscope, we noticed the similarities and differences in prepared slides of epithelium,
smooth muscle cells, human blood, and so much more.
