Taylor Rapp Joins Bills Mafia

The Buffalo Bills are adding to their secondary. Buffalo signed Safety Taylor Rapp to a one-year

deal. Rapp's contract details haven't been released yet.

Taylor Rapp has his eyes set on another Super Bowl trophy. Rapp won the 2021-22 Super Bowl

with the Los Angeles Rams. Rapp said, "I want to win and help this team out, help this

organization win a championship."

In a four-year span, Rapp has played in 48 games. Rapp has accumulated 330 tackles, one and a

half sacks, 23 pass deflections and nine interceptions. Rapp has forced a fumble, recovered three

fumbles, and scored a defensive touchdown.

Rapp joins a talented secondary led by Jordan Poyer and Micah Hyde. Rapp is excited to work

with Poyer and Hyde. Rapp considers Poyer and Hyde the best safeties in the NFL. Rapp wants

to record more takeaways and learn from the safety duo.

Rapp also joins a strong defensive unit. Buffalo's defense ranked sixth in the NFL in 2022.

Buffalo allowed 319.1 yards per game and 17.9 points per game. Buffalo also recorded 27

takeaways which ranked fourth in the NFL.

Buffalo will give Rapp opportunities to make plays. However, Rapp must work hard, learn the

playbook and consistently make plays during the offseason.


Rapp was drafted in 2019 and played college football at Washington. Rapp was a two-time First-

Team All-Pac 12. Rapp also was Pac-12 Defensive Freshman of the Year in 2016.
