Subject: Composition of Community-Based Child Mapping Team

Date: March 25, 2022

1. The issuance of DepEd Order 44. s. 2015 entitled Guidelines on the

Enhanced School Improvement Planning (SIP) Process and School Report Card (SRC) set the
standards on how to conduct planning process in school level.
2. One of the processes to be done preferably at the start of the SIP cycle
is the Community-Based Child Mapping to account for the children in the community after
events causing major population changes and at the same time conduct early registration
activities for SY 2022-2023. The data and information will be used in accomplishing the
School-Community Data Template needed in the preparation of SIP 2022-2025.
3. In this connection, this Office announces the composition of
community-based child mapping team who will go around the feeder barangays of the school
to get necessary data and information to be used in the preparation of SIP starting March 28-
April 8, 2022. The following team of teachers will also help the project team of Project
Hanap Kita in the conduct of Early Registration Activities.
4. The teachers involved in the aforementioned activity will be given
service credits for services rendered beyond official working days/hours such as Saturday,
Sunday, and holiday as approved by the Schools Division Superintendent.

Good day!
In connection with DO 44, s. 2015 known as Guidelines on Enhanced School Improvement
Planning (SIP) Process and the School Report Card (SRC), the school is required to conduct a
Community-Based Child Mapping Activity if the Community-Based Monitoring System is
not available from the Local Government Unit (LGU). The said activity will be conducted by
our school to anticipate enrolment for the coming school years. Likewise, it will be used as
basis in developing mechanisms for actively seeking children not in school, and to give them
access to education.
In this regard, may I request permission from your office to conduct a Community-Based
Child Mapping Activity in your barangay from March 28-April 8, 2022. May I request
further that the teachers involved be assisted and accompanied by your Barangay Health
Workers and Barangay Tanod to ensure their safety in the conduct of the aforementioned
activity.

Subject: Orientation on the Conduct of Community-Based Child Mapping

Enhanced School Improvement Planning (SIP) Process and School Report Card (SRC) set the
standards on how to conduct planning process in school level.
2. One of the processes to be done preferably at the start of the SIP cycle
is the Community-Based Child Mapping to account for the children in the community after

the Conduct of Community-Based Child Mapping to the team of teachers on April 28, 2022
at exactly 3:30 PM at Room 3. The activity aims to:
A. Orient teachers on the process involved in conducting Community-
Based Child Mapping.
B. Orient teachers in accomplishing the School-Community Data
Template, Child-Mapping Tool, Individual Tool for Mapping, and other relevant reports to be
accomplished.
