In the Building Cisco Multilayer Switched Networks (BCMSN) course, network administrators learn
how to build campus networks using multilayer switching technologies over high speed Ethernet.
This course includes both routing and switching concepts, covering both Layer 2 and Layer 3
technologies.

PREREQUISITES

The participant should have a working knowledge of CCNA level. These skills can be gained by
taking the CCNA Cisco Certified Training course or by Cisco Networking Academy Program.

OBJECTIVES

After completing this course, students will be able to:

• Given a campus design that includes multilayer switching over Fast Ethernet, deploy the
required Cisco products and services that enable connectivity and traffic transport.
• Implement the necessary services at each layer of the network to all users to obtain
membership in multicast groups in a working multilayer switched network.
• Given a working multilayer switched network, control network traffic by implementing the
necessary admission policy at each layer of the network topology.

CERTIFICATES
After graduation:
• Students will be granted attendant certificates by SaigonCTT.
• Students can register for the BCMSN exam at SaigonCTT – Exam code: 640-504.
