Magnet is a keyword research tool which helps to find high relevant, high-volume keywords used to
optimize the sales and display the listings to the relevant customers. By checking relevancy we can
find super relevant keywords through magnet as well.

4. Why we use Google Trends? (2 Marks)

Google Trend is used to check the product whether it is seasonal or not. It uses graphs with various
timelines to compare the search volume of different products over the time span. If the interest
over time is above 25 it is considered as a normal/trending product. If it is below 25 then it is
seasonal.

5. Please search the keyword of any of the following in Google Trends and explain in your

o Chlorine

The product as seen in the image is not seasonal. The history of last 5 years shows that it’s
interest over time is above 25 in y-axis.

o Swimming pool
The product is somewhat seasonal. The spike shows that it was trending and mostly used during
the summer and spring season. But still in normal days its interest over time is above 25.

o Skateboard.

From the above image we can see that this seems a risky seasonal item because there is a lot of
fluctuations in the graph and its interest over time becomes zero as well making it risky.
