Perform the following tasks to install Robotic Process Automation (RPA)


Hub, generate a user certificate, and install the generated user
certificate.

• Install Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Hub

You can install the Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Hub application
(sn_rpa_fdn) if you have the admin role. The application includes demo
data and installs related ServiceNow® Store applications and plugins if
they are not already installed.

• Generate a user certificate

Generate a user certificate in your Windows machine, for


authentication purposes, if you have the admin role. Use this certificate
to set up the Unattended Robot application and to publish an
automation project in the RPA Desktop Design Studio.

• Install the generated user certificate

Install the generated user certificate in your Windows machine, for


authentication purposes, if you have the admin role. Use this certificate
to set up the Unattended Robot application and to publish an
automation project in the RPA Desktop Design Studio.

• Domain separation and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Hub

Domain separation is supported for RPA Hub. Domain separation


enables you to separate data, processes, and administrative tasks into
logical groupings called domains. You can control several aspects of
this separation, including which users can see and access data.
