RELATED WITH ENGLISH II COURSE

TO DO LIST:

1. Listening the presentations given in the first 3 weeks. (It will be checked from University
internet)
2. Attending to 5 scientific activities supported by the lecturer- Prof. Dr. Haydar Sur (the
meetings can be congress, symposium, seminar, webinar, course etc.) This attendance should
be documented by a certificate or participation paper.
3. Preparing two homeworks, first for the midterm exam and the second for the final exam.
These homeworks should be an essay about either two of the following topics:
a. Basic principles of a scientific research
b. Standartds of how to write a scientific paper
c. Doing a scientific presentation, preperation, methods and tips
d. Library utilization behaviors
e. Tips for systematic scientific review on the internet
f. How to be a successful young scientific person
4. The deadline for the midterm homework submission is 30 April 2023
5. The deadline for the final homework submission is 23 June 2023
6. The essays should be at least 5 pages, at most 10 pages of 12 punto Times New Roman style
with 1,5 spacing.
7. Students should list the references they sed at the end of the essay with the reference style
of APA.
