1. General

All dimensions refer to the finished floor and finished wall.

Modifications and services carried out by BHT Hygienetechnik which arise from failings by
the customer, will be invoiced to the customer.

If there are panels from the machine up to the ceiling, the panels have to have ventilation
slots. Free cross section 100 cm².

For the connection of automatic cleaning machines to the drinking water supply, all
local/national regulations must be followed (for example in Germany DIN 1988 and “DVGW”
regulations and specifications must be followed).

Install electric connections in accordance with the IEC regulations and local/ national (in
Germany VDE) regulations.

The BHT INNOVA® M3 New is discharged by a drain pump. The building side water drain
made by Siphon.

4. Electric connection

Power supply cable to the BHT INNOVA® M3 New has to be connected to the
terminal box of the machine and grounded properly in accordance with the valid IEC
guidelines. Each machine requires its particular rated fuses and particular supply
cable. Earth leakage circuit breaker, according to IEC guidelines and local/national
(in Germany VDE) regulations.

Safety device by customer:


Three-pole master switch mounted at an easily
accessible place in the operating room.
A residual-current-operated circuit breaker is to be
provided in accordance with the valid IEC (in Germany
VDE) guidelines.

The ends of the hoses are colour marked with the kind of chemical that shall be used
with it (e. g. cleaner = white, disinfector = blue).

If several machines are supplied from only one container for each detergent, a
dosage control is necessary. The connection to a central dosing control is also
possible. For details please contact the manufacturer.

Be careful when working with cleaning and disinfection


agents. Eyes, hands and clothes must be protected. Wear
safety glasses and gloves. Avoid contact of eyes and skin

6. Consumables

Use only detergents, which are tested and approved by the


manufacturer (BHT Hygienetechnik GmbH). Please consult
the manufacturer (BHT Hygienetechnik GmbH), in case you
want to use operating supplies by other manufacturers. Attention!

- Cleaning agent.

- Disinfectant.

When changing the consumable materials the Instructions in


chapter 9.1 "instructions for suction lances with reflux preventer"
are to be considered.
Note!

For damages, caused by the usage of incorrect consumables /


detergents or their incorrect handling (e.g. crystallisation),
BHT Hygienetechnik GmbH declines any responsibility.
Note!

After changing the consumables/ detergents the flow meters


must be recalibrated and the dosage quantity readjusted. This
can only be done by a service technician from BHT
Hygienetechnik GmbH or a specially trained service
technician from your organization. Otherwise, cleaning and Vorsicht
