Dinosaurs dominated our world for more than 140 million years. Whereas humans have
been on this planet for 200,000 years and there is no possibility that humans have coexisted
with dinosaurs

66 million years ago, 75% of life on earth disappeared, which led to the extinction of the
dinosaurs.

Some think that dinosaurs were extinguished, but the truth is not so since we really see them
every day because they evolved and adapted to the catastrophizes that the universe has
sent him.

Dinosaurs were extinguished by the meteorite that fell on the coasts of Mexico causing their
extinction but not all life became extinct since the survivors had to adapt to the conditions,
since there are between 1,700 and 1,900 species of dinosaurs, and it is said that the most
similar are chickens, lizards, birds.

The proponents of this theory were Luis and Walter Alvarez who in 1980 found limestone
deposits from the Cretaceous and Paleogene periods in gubbio Italy.

The researchers found a trace of iridium which increased in width, this is an element which is
abundant in meteorites and is very rare on earth, so finding it may be a sign of where the
asteroid impacted.

This raised the question of where the crater was located, so they delved deeper into the
iridium layer to find answers and did a lot of research. Following the trail of iridium debris,
scientists in 1990 found a saucer-shaped structure that would be the result of the asteroid's
impact, which they named Chicxulub crater under the surface of the Yucatan Peninsula.
