A RESOLUTION HUMBLY REQUESTING THE LOCAL FINANCE COMMITTEE CHAIRED BY

THE MUNICIPAL MAYOR GADWIN E. HANDUMON TO IMPLEMENT THE STEP
INCREMENTS ENTITLED TO SB MEMBER JOSE H. ENGUITO JR., SB MEMBER HENRY M.
BULAWIN, SB MEMBER MYRA L. PLUMA AND TO SB MEMBER MARILOU V. YAP, OF
PLARIDEL BASED ON THEIR LENGTH OF SERVICE PURSUANT TO CSC AND DBM JOINT
CIRCULAR NO. 01 S. 2016 DATED JANUARY 27, 2016

WHEREAS, as per record, the following SB Members, being elective officials, are
entitled to step increment based on their length of service on the same position, as
follows:

1) SB MEMBER JOSE H. ENGUITO JR. - 2 CONSECUTIVE TERMS LENGTH OF

SERVICE (2010-2016)
2) SB MEMBER HENRY M. BULAWIN - 2 TERMS LENGTH OF SERVICE (2010-2016)
3) SB MEMBER MYRA L. PLUMA - 2 TERMS LENGTH OF SERVICE (2010-2016)
4) SB MEMBER MARILOU V. YAP - 3 TERMS LENGTH OF SERVICE (2010-2019)

WHEREAS, they shall enjoy this benefit as a form of reward for completing their
term of office and being re-elected to the same position;

WHEREAS, under the provision (pursuant to CSC and DBM joint Circular No. 01
S.16 dated January 27, 2016) an elective official who served an elective position for a
maximum of two (2) or three (3) consecutive term, as applicable, and re elected to the
same position after a break or interruption of the continuity of his/her service shall be
granted one (1) step higher from the salary he/she last received for the same position;

WHEREAS, heads of the legislative branch and the local government units shall
be responsible for the development and review of the agency system and procedure in
the implementation of this increments; they shall issue the (NOSI) Notice of Step
Increment to elective officials entitled thereto;

RESOLVED, as it hereby RESOLVES, to humbly request the Local Finance

Committee chaired by the Municipal Mayor Gadwin E. Handumon to implement the Step
Increments entitled to SB Member Jose H. Enguito Jr., SB Member Henry M. Bulawin,
SM Member Myra L. Pluma and to SB Member Marilou V. Yap, of Plaridel based on their
length of service Pursuant to CSC and DBM Joint Circular No. 01 S. 2016 dated January
27, 2016;

RESOLVED FINALLY that a copy of this resolution be furnished to the

Municipality of Plaridel Municipal Mayor, Hon. Gadwin E. Handumon, the Municipal Vice
Mayor, Neite O. Gornez, the Local Finance Committee, the HRMDO, Mr. Marcelo P.
Canares and all concerned offices for their information and guidance.
