A SANGGUNIANG BAYAN RESOLUTION APPROVING AN ORDINANCE

AUTHORIZING THE FUND REALIGNMENT OF UNEXPECTED BUDGET FOR

PERSONAL SERVICES OF THE MUNICIPAL SOCIAL WELFARE AND
DEVELOPMENT OFFICE (MSWDO) TO A TEMPORARY HAZARD PAY OF FOUR
THOUSAND PESOS (P4,000.00) PER PERSON AMOUNTING TO A TOTAL OF TWO
HUNDRED TWELVE THOUSAND PESOS (P212,000.00) FOR ESSENTIAL
FRONTLINE WORKERS INCLUDING TWELVE (12) MSWDO PERSONNEL, EIGHT
(8) CHILD DEVELOPMENT WORKERS, AND THIRTY THREE (33) BARANGAY
NUTRITION SCHOLARS (BNS) IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF SINILOAN, LAGUNA.

WHEREAS, Administrative Order No. 26, Series of 2020 authorizes the start of
COVID-19 HAZARD PAY to all Frontliners encompassing Government Employees, Job Order
and Contract of Service Workers who physically reported for work during the period of ECQ,
dependent on the LGU’s financial capability, and at rates not exceeding P500.00 per day per
person;

WHEREAS, under Civil Service Commission (CSC) Memorandum Circular No. 10, S.
2020 or the Interim Guidelines for Alternative Work Arrangement (AWA), the employees
assigned as Skeleton Workforce shall be entitled to Hazard Pay.

WHEREAS, this resolution/ordinance is meant for the recognition of the well observed
hard work from the aforementioned precursors whom have served and ceaselessly serving the
people of this municipality ever since we were inundated by this pandemic;

WHEREAS, the aforesaid workers provided efforts such as relief goods distribution,
monitoring of evacuees during calamity on pandemic, and Social Amelioration Program
implementation.

NOW THEREFORE, on motion of Hon. Mauro P. Adofina seconded by all members of

the Sangguniang Bayan present in the session duly assembled, it was

RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, to approve an Ordinance as follows:

MUNICIPAL ORDINANCE NO. 50, S. 2020

SECTION 1. TITLE. An Ordinance authorizing the Fund Realignment of Unexpected

Budget for Personal Services of the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office
(MSWDO) to a Temporary Hazard Pay of Four Thousand Pesos (P4,000.00) per person
amounting to a total of Two Hundred Twelve Thousand Pesos (P212,000.00) for Essential
Frontline Workers including twelve (12) MSWDO Personnel, Eight (8) Child Development
Workers, and Thirty Three (33) Barangay Nutrition Scholars (BNS) in the Municipality of
Siniloan, Laguna.

SECTION 2. SOURCES OF FUND. The amount of Two Hundred Twelve Thousand

Pesos (P212,000.00) shall be sourced from the UNEXPECTED BUDGET FOR PERSONAL
SERVICES of the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO).

SECTION 3. USE OF FUND. The total amount of Two Hundred Twelve Thousand
Pesos (P212,000.00) as TEMPORARY HAZARD PAY BONUS is to be appropriated as follows:

 MSWDO Personnel 12 persons x P4,000.00 each P48,000.00

  Child Development Workers 8 persons x P4,000.00 each P32,000.00

 Barangay Nutrition Scholars (BNS) 33 persons x P4,000.00 each P132,000.00

TOTAL: P212,000.00

SECTION 4. DISBURSEMENT OF FUND. The Municipal Budget Officer, Municipal

Treasurer, and Municipal Accountant is hereby directed to enter all necessary transactions
relative to the above realignment in the appropriate books of this Municipality.

SECTION 5. REPEALING CLAUSE. Any Ordinance or parts thereof, inconsistent

with this enactment is hereby repealed or amended accordingly.

SECTION 6. EFFECTIVITY CLAUSE. This ordinance shall take effect upon

approval.

RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this resolution be furnish to all concerned for
their information.
