A SANGGUNIANG BAYAN RESOLUTION APPROVING AN ORDINANCE

AUTHORIZING THE REALIGNMENT OF THE “REPAIR-OFFICE BUILDING”

FUND FROM MAINTENANCE AND OTHER OPERATING EXPENSES (MOOE) OF
THE LOCAL BUREAU OF FIRE PROTECTION (BFP) OFFICE AMOUNTING TO
FIFTY THOUSAND PESOS (P50,000.00) FOR THE PURCHASE/PROCUREMENT OF
LAPTOP BY THE SAME OFFICE.

WHEREAS, Section 447, item 2(i) of the R.A. 7160 also known as the Local
Government Code of 1991 provides that the Sangguniang Bayan, as the legislative body of the
municipality, shall enact ordinances, approve resolutions and appropriate funds for the general
welfare of the municipality and its inhabitants in the proper exercise of the corporate powers of
the municipality;

WHEREAS, on February 18, 2021, the Acting Municipal Fire Marshal, SFO4 Ponciano
Arvin R. Leynes requested the Sangguniang Bayan for the realignment of the afore-cited as per
recommended by the Municipal Budget Officer, and upon pre-approval of the Municipal Mayor,
Hon. Rainier Acero Leopando;

WHEREAS, the said laptop will be used and utilized by the Siniloan BFP Office as the
local BFP is on works on advancing its services and upgrade of equipment;

WHEREAS, after careful review and evaluation of the local BFP funds, the Sangguniang
Bayan finds it fair, just, and legal to authorize the aforesaid realignment ensuring that the
expenditure is reasonable and not contrary to law.

NOW THEREFORE, on motion of Hon. Rhona V. Balbalosa seconded by all members

of the Sangguniang Bayan present in the session duly assembled, it was

RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, to approve an Ordinance as follows:

MUNICIPAL ORDINANCE NO. 09, S. 2021

SECTION 1. TITLE. AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE REALIGNMENT OF

THE “REPAIR-OFFICE BUILDING” FUND FROM MAINTENANCE AND OTHER
OPERATING EXPENSES (MOOE) OF THE LOCAL BUREAU OF FIRE PROTECTION (BFP)
OFFICE AMOUNTING TO FIFTY THOUSAND PESOS (P50,000.00) FOR THE
PURCHASE/PROCUREMENT OF LAPTOP BY THE SAME OFFICE.

SECTION 2. SOURCES OF FUND. The amount of Fifty Thousand Pesos

(P50,000.00) shall be sourced from the “Repair-Office Building” Fund of the Local Bureau of
Fire Protection (BFP) Office for the year 2021.

SECTION 3. USE OF FUND. The total amount of Fifty Pesos (P50,000.00) is to be

appropriated for the purchase/procurement of 1 unit of laptop.

SECTION 4. DISBURSEMENT OF FUND. The Municipal Budget Officer, Municipal

Treasurer, and Municipal Accountant are hereby directed to enter all the necessary transactions
relative to the abovementioned realignment in the appropriate books of this Municipality.

SECTION 5. REPEALING CLAUSE. Any Ordinance or parts thereof, inconsistent

with this enactment is hereby repealed or amended accordingly.

SECTION 6. EFFECTIVITY CLAUSE. This ordinance shall take effect upon

approval.
 RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this resolution be furnish to all concerned for
their information.
