PARAGAS, PhD, CESO III Director IV/Regional Director May 2, 2022 Subject! | GENDER AND DEVELOPMENT (GAD) CAPACITY-BUILDING Pursuant to Section C of DepEd Order 32, s. 2017 and consistent with its commitment to ensure the upskilling and reskilling of its personnel under Project NEB-GAS CARES, DepEd Regional Office No. 2 through the Human Resource Development Division (HRDD) in close coordination with the Regional Gender and Development Focal Point System (GFPS) shall conduct Gender and Development Capacity Building dubbed as “Lingked GADthering on Wheels” with the theme, “Cultivating Gender Sensitivity and Equality Amidst Individual Diversity in a Post-COVID 19 Transition” on June 7-9, 2022 within the area of Metro Manila. The exact venue of the activity shall be ‘announced through a separate Advisory. . The activity is conceived in line with the Office’s recognition of the need to promote teamwork and synergy in the workplace by creating a gender- responsive organization. Further, it aims to provide an opportunity for all personnel to create a strong team through forming bonds and connections. Participants to this activity shall be the Regional Director, Assistant Regional Director, Chiefs of Functional Divisions, Heads of Units and Sections, Education Program Supervisors, Senior/Education Program Specialists, and all rank-and-file employees of DepEd RO2. Participants who joined in the online poll votes conducted on March 25, 2022, and those who signified their interest in the Confirmation of Attendance on April 4-7, 2022, are required to re-confirm their participation by affixing their signatures in the Consent Form on or before May 6, 2022.
