"This new academic year stands before us like a chapter in the book waiting to be written"...
and to make this chapter worthwhile and beautiful we must take and follow new resolutions
in order to improve ourselves and live a better life. Every human mind is a great slumbering
power until awakened by keen desire and by definite resolution to do. There is a huge role of
resolutions in our day to day lives as they help us achieve new milestones…take new
flights…and become a successful person all together, so I invite Rasika to enlighten us all by
delivering a speech on Importance of Resolutions .

Speech ( Rasika ) -:
Hello everyone,
Today we're going to talk about something connected to the beginning
of our new sessions. The New academic year reminds us that time is not
permanent. It moves silently and stops for no one. So it gets a little tricky
for everyone to cope up with the past year mistakes and habits that we
should get rid of for a better year and a better life .
Now the main question is HOW DO WE DO THIS ?
The answer is quite simple , my friends….We do it by taking new
resolutions. A single goal or a list of goals one wants to accomplish or
get rid of might form a new resolutions . Resolutions give us an
opportunity to achieve anything we want whether it be in our academics,
physical fitness or moral aspect of life .It is allows us to cope up with our
past mistakes and start over by making changes in our lives . Making a
resolution is crucial because we need a goal or purpose to live. A
resolution for the coming session is an idea that better defines and
represents you. Having new resolutions is a thing to be proud of and to
share with others. Before moving forward, it is important to keep in mind
that the changes must be fair and respectable. For a resolution to work
in our life, we must be a person with strong determination. Strong
determination and willpower will help us to stay firm and consistent in
our taken resolutions. Now here are some resolutions that we can adopt
during this school year for our own betterment :
 Exercising daily
 Going to bed early,
 Waking up early
 Eating healthy food
 Being polite and humble
 Helping others
 Being consistent in studies
 Being patient
 Learning from mistakes etc
Thank you.

It was J Allen Shaw who rightly said , " Don't make resolutions without an action plan . The
secret to success is right in your hands." So , I welcome on the stage my friends Naman ,
Yug , Bhoomi , Asra , Drishti and Tripti to show us how to really follow our resolutions
seriously and how to not forget about them in just a few days.

Drishti :
A resolution is about what you would like to do rather than what you 'should do'. People
either establish excessively difficult objectives that quickly becomes unreachable, or they set
relatively easy goals that they become bored with within a few days . So , the first step
towards following your resolutions is examining and analysing them . It's critical to review
your resolutions to see,
if they are achievable?
If they are quantifiable?
If they are constrained by time?
If they are specific in nature?
And if they are in line with your goals.

Tripti:
Another step can be taking reasonable and meaningful goals . For instance, If someone
wants to improve their health and figure , they should take goals related to the fitness and
physical activities of the body along with a diet plan . Studies show that when your goals are
personally meaningful, you are more likely to achieve them. Therefore, the first and foremost
step is to make your goals for yourself. Also, being as realistic as possible can make you
more determined to fulfill it. Time management plays a vital role here. We can prioritize our
goals over others. At last, we should remember that if you are truly devoted and determined
to fulfill your goals, then nothing can distract you from achieving them.
Thank you.

Anchoring ( Archeesha ) -:

Poetry is not only dream and vision…it is the skeleton architecture of our lives . It lays the
foundations for a future of change , a bridge across our fears of what has never been
before . It is the rhythmical creation of beauty in words .
So now , I invite my friend Shreyashi on the stage to recite a beautiful poetry on how
Resolutions leads to Flights .

So with this we conclude our assembly. Thank You and

Have a nice day !!
