Analyzing Data Assignment

Using this data collection, I am able to see which questions students did well on versus
which questions they did poorly on. This allows me to see which topics the class needs
more help on as a whole, and also which students may need more one-on-one support.
Only one student got a 100, and there are multiple students below a failing grade.
Overall, this data shows me the students need more instruction with this material,
because there is a large amount of students struggling.

How well is the class doing as a whole group? Provide two statements.
Since the class average, median, and range are all in the 60s, the class does not seem
to be doing very well as a whole. Only 31% of the class got questions 5 and 11 correct,
which can tell us that either those questions were difficult to comprehend/understand, or
that the whole class needs more work on these topics in these questions.

Which individuals are doing well and in what topics? Describe at least 3 students.
Juan scored a 100%, and was the only one to do so! He is doing well in all topics. Cody
had the second highest score, 93%, and had 100% in the topics of subtraction and
division. Another student that is doing well is Hugh, who had a 100% on the addition
questions.

Who may need extra support and on what topics? Describe at least 3 students.
Both Patrick and Luke had the lowest score of 40%. Patrick needs a lot of support in
division, while Luke could use the most help in subtraction. Claire and Nathan also
scored in the 40s, both with a 47%. Claire scored a lot lower on the addition problems.
All four of these students are well below average, and this data shows they need a lot of
additional support.
