1. Describe the best learning experience you have had as a University of La Salette student?

The Best learning experience for me is that when we enrolled at La Salette, I was able to
interact with different types of people, observe God's wonderful creatures and appreciate
everyone's uniqueness. Studying at the University taught me different things just like understanding
other's perspective about Christianity and on how they give importance to it. Lastly, I was able to
learn and inculcate the university core values and apply it in daily living.

2. Based on University of La Salette Philosophy of Education, Identify focal points from your
learning experience.

The most important learning from my experience is that I'm starting to be more appreciative
and starting to be more understandable about the divergence of religions. As the university
philosophy of education is little by little transforming me to become a better person.

3. What are you trying to achieve as a Student of University of La Salette? What measures can
be done to be able to reach your goal?

On my first day at the University, all I could think about was studying hard, graduating and
achieving my dream to become a registered nurse someday. The longer my stay at the university,
the more new knowledge I learn such as strengthening my faith in God, rebuilding connnection with
God and by blazing the desire to serve him. That learning is something that no one can ever get
from me. Now that I’m studying in this University, I would also like to become a reconciler because
that’s one of the University goals to “form reconcilers' '. And for the aforementioned dream to come
true, I’ll dedicate my life to Jesus because he knows the things that are good for me. I will continue
to strive even if there’s a lot of challenges to face and fears to conquer because that’s what a person
with determination would do to achieve their goals. I will fully abide by the university rules and
regulations for me to be able to keep a good record.

4.What are the hindrances that limit you or slow you down to achieve your goal?

The hindrances that limit my moves in achieving my goal are stress, sudden anxiety attacks,
relatives high expectations and of course something I can’t deny, which is our financial capability.
Even if we have money now, I can’t assure if my parents would still afford my next expenses for the
following years. Moreover, the biggest hindrance I could ever tell is the negative habit of my mind
when things don't come my way. Negative mindset is the hardest thing to fight with because your
enemy is the way you think.

5. What are your personal strategies that you think are very helpful in achieving your goal?
My strategies are sleeping, reading books about positivity in life, living a healthy life, and
spending some time with my family despite the fact that they are also one of the causes of my
stress. But of course, the best strategy for me that will really help me to achieve my goal would be
the consistent communication with God which is praying.
