Beginner Guide – Checklist & Procedures for MS Flight Simulator
TAKE OFF
The Concorde in the MSFS accelerates after lift of very quick!! You
need to get a high Pitch or lower Thrust to not overshoot 250 KIAS
→ check your Takeoff Speeds for your Grossweight
→ line up and set PARKING BRAKE
→ Set Takeoff Thrust -> FULL POWER / Afterburner ON
→ release PARKING BRAKE
→ @ VR -> slowly Rotate to ~ 13 ° Nose Up Attitude
→ @ positive Rate Of Climb -> retract LANDING GEAR
→ increase Nose Up Attitude to maintain V2
(nearly impossible in the sim at the moment)
→ @ 600 ft -> lower nose to accelerate to & maintain V2+40
→ @ 1.500 ft -> lower nose to accelerate to 250/260 KIAS
→ use manual Throttle or Engage IAS AQC with 250 KIAS set
→ engage Autopilot 1 and Autopilot 2 if desired
→ use HDG Mode or INS Mode (Flightplan)
→ use ALT AQC with VS Mode,
→ set VS Speed with Datum Switch at Center Pedestal
→ select VS to not be over ~95% N1 with Autothrottle
or disengange REHEAT (saving a lot of fuel)
→ climb with 250 KIAS and ~ 3.000 – 5.000 fpm to 10.000 ft

around 30 ft AGL, be ready to immediately push the throttle briefly
forward, to power up, then instantly retard, that would make the
aircraft decrease VS. (this is no real procedure, but could be a
substitute for a real Autoland)
→ use Reverse Thrust & Brakes to descelerate
→ disengage Autopilot

If Tank 9 has 8.000 KG & Tank 11 has less then 3.000 KG
