General Information If in doubt, or if symptoms persist, please consult a doctor. Never give anything by mouth
to an unconscious person.
Inhalation Get out into the fresh air. Make sure the patient is warm and in a quiet place. Don't give him
anything to swallow.
Ingestion If the product is accidentally swallowed, consult a doctor immediately. Rest the patient.
Rinse his mouth thoroughly with water. Do NOT force him to vomit.
Skin contact Remove contaminated clothing. Wash skin thoroughly with soap and water or use a
specialized skin cleanser. NEVER use solvents or thinners. If irritation or inflammation
persists, please seek medical attention.
Eye contact Remove contact lenses. Flush eyes with plenty of cool, clean water for at least 15 minutes,
keeping eyelids wide open, and seek medical attention.
4.2. Most important symptoms and effects, both acute and delayed
Skin contact Prolonged or repeated contact with the skin or mucous membrane may give rise to
irritating symptoms such as redness, blisters or dermatitis. The onset of symptoms may be
delayed. May cause allergic skin reaction.
4.3. Indication of any immediate medical attention and special treatment needed
Extinguishing media Use: sand, alcohol-resistant foam, carbon dioxide, dry chemical, water mist for larger
appropriate fires.
NEVER use a water jet.

Combustion products In the event of a fire, hazardous decomposition products may be formed, such as smoke,
dangerous carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide.
Protective measures to Fire will produce thick black smoke containing hazardous combustion products. Exposure to

Cleaning methods Scrape up most of the product and put it in an appropriately labeled container. Cover spill
area with sand or other inert material then sweep up and pour into container. Clean the
surfaces with a mixture of water and detergent. Ensure that product spills or associated wash
water do not enter drains or waterways.

Usage precautions Vapors may accumulate in container headspace during transit or prolonged storage. Avoid
inhalation of vapors when opening container. Whenever possible, open containers and mix
components in a well-ventilated room away from the area of application. Avoid contact with
skin and eyes or clothing. Prohibit the consumption of food and drink, as well as cigarettes in
storage and use areas. For personal protection, see Section 8. Always keep containers of the
same material as the supply container in stock. Good housekeeping practices should be
followed as well as regular and safe disposal of waste. FIRE/EXPLOSION This product is
combustible. Eliminate all sources of heat, sparks or open flame.
General advice on Wash at the end of each work period and before eating, smoking and using the toilet. Make
occupational hygiene sure that the means necessary for an eye wash (fountain, bottle, flask, etc.) are easily
accessible. Never put contaminated items or materials, e.g. spatulas, applicators, brushes,
rags, etc., in his pockets. When necessary, contaminated work clothes and shoes should be
removed to avoid cross-contamination of surfaces, the risk of unintentional skin contact and
ingestion.

Eye/face protection Wearing eye protection such as safety glasses or goggles is recommended while handling
and using this material. Eye protection should be selected in accordance with EN 166
Personal eye protection. During subsequent machining, grinding, abrading or removal of
this product appropriate eye protection should be selected based on the type of tools or
equipment being used.
Hand protection Hand protection should be selected in accordance with EN 374 Protective gloves against
chemical hazards. The puncture-free life of the selected gloves should be longer than the
expected time of use. In any case, if this is not possible, the gloves must be changed in time
and in any case before the breakthrough-free life is exceeded. If in doubt, seek advice from
the glove supplier, for the different types of gloves to consider. You can use barrier creams to
reinforce the protection of certain skin areas exposed to the product, but they cannot
completely replace physical protection. Do not apply these creams after skin exposure.
SPECIFIC RECOMMENDATIONS Wear protective gloves made of the following material:
Neoprene. Nitrile rubber. STANDARD APPLICATIONS Medium-heavyweight gauntlet gloves
offering adequate wrist protection. EMERGENCY REPAIRS OR SINGLE UNIT APPLICATION
Lightweight, disposable gloves are usually adequate.
Other skin and body STANDARD APPLICATIONS Synthetic polyethylene coverall such as Tyvek PRO-TECH® or
protection equivalent coverall manufactured to EN 13034 Type 6, Protective clothing against liquid
chemicals Type 6. In case of extreme contamination of clothing, remove clothing and wash
the skin with soap and water, or a specialized skin cleanser. EMERGENCY REPAIRS OR SINGLE
UNIT APPLICATION Cotton coveralls are normally adequate.
Respiratory protection Respiratory protection is not normally required, but the potential hazards of the Hardener
component should be considered for mixing and application purposes.

Medical Considerations Skin contact is a significant risk. People who have had skin sensitization problems in the past
should only work with processes for which the product is used under appropriate medical
supervision.
Toxicological effects Repeated skin contact may lead to sensitization with possibly cross-sensitization to other
epoxies. In rare cases, low molecular weight liquid epoxy resins can cause an allergic
respiratory reaction like asthma, based on limited human information. The evidence
available is not however, considered to fall within the classification criteria as laid out
within the OSHA Hazard Communication Standard nor the Controlled Products
Regulations.
Toxicological effects Repeated skin contact may lead to sensitization with possibly cross-sensitization to
other epoxies.
Ecotoxicity There is no data on the product itself. The following information is provided based on
available data on the individual components.
12.1. Toxicity
Toxicity Based on the content of epoxy resin (average molecular weight <=700) and epoxy phenol
novolak resin, this product is expected to have experimental LC50/EC50/IC50 values
between 1 and 10 mg/l for most sensitive species.

novolak resin, this product is not expected to be readily biodegradable according to
OECD/EC guidelines.
Bioaccumulative potential Based on epoxy resin (average molecular weight <=700) and epoxy phenol novolak
resin content, this product is expected to bioaccumulate.
