INTRODUCTION

Among the factors that determine the happiness of people is the external or
physical appearance of the same, since throughout life the human being exposed
to the risk of phyisical deformation for different reasons, producing disagreement
in the life of people. Therefore, it generates the need to correct with the help of
conventional methods or not. However, cosmetic surgery is one of this tools that
allows overcoming the problem.

The development of the science and the technology in all fields in recent decades
has been phenomenal. In this line the cosmetic surgery contitutes one of the
fundamental medical advances to promote the elevation of people quality of life.

When the person feels dissatisfied with their physical appearance today, they can
resort to cosmetic surgery to correct physical anomalies and therefore achieve a
series of positive effects that could be mentioned as follows: It improves the
aspects of the body that produce complexes and therefore affect self-esteem;
improves the external image of the person; it constitutes one of the forms of
healing and correction of diseases, malformations, traumatisms and aesthetic
problems; it provides a solution to psychological disorders originated in aesthetic
nonconformity; among others.

All these effects that it produces in people, in turn, in the medium and long term,
can concatenate in the change of perception of reality, producing effects sach as the
renewal of the vision and the life project, which will allow to overcome with
greater ease the difficulties that it implies to face in life and thus achieve the
objectives and goals that people set. This situation, in turn, can achieve indirect
effects in the construction of a more just and supportive society.

CONCLUSION

Cosmetic surgery in people can have very significant positive effects sach as:
improves physical appearance, cures diseases, malformations and aesthetic
problems, raises seft-esteem, corrects psychological disorders. In turn, this
situation triggers to provide new energy and the drive required to face the
challenges of life.
