Lahore city is the ancient center of not only politics but also culture. Mughal culture achieves its
zenith in this city. It is also the center of Sikh culture. This city also harbored a culture of
education and literature. It is also the center of mystic people. Hazrat Ali hajweri, Hazrat data
ganj bakhsh, the author of the famous book on Sufism entitled KASHF UL MAHJOOB, is
buried in this city. During British rule, the fashion of Lahore was renowned in the sub-continent.
This city never lost its significance after the inception of Pakistan.
