During
investigation I found the heater wire was pinched/cut by the corner trim piece during case construction at
factory.
FR38394, FR38395 CoreLink Controller Issues: FWG/FWEG Cases were shipped with the wrong
controllers (pn: 3053539). BOM shows PN: 3156972. 6 of the 10 controllers were not programed. RC spent
several hours diagnosing and working with AJ Grier to get these programed. AJ had to retrieve the old
program, etc., and help the RC get these cases up and running.
FR38396, FR38397, FR38400, FR38401, FR38402, FR38403, FR38404, FR38405 Wiring Issues:
FR38396
* Issues with case wiring landed in the wrong spots causing direct shorts. L1 swapped with the L2.
FR38397
*Neutral wire was not stripped and landed under terminal. Controller was only getting half of the voltage.
FR38400, FR38401
* Wire Strands touching the ground and/or terminal next to it.
FR38402, FR38403
* Several wires w/more than half of the copper strands cut off and jammed under the terminals. This included
Defrost wiring.
FR38404, FR38405
* Jumper wires landed on some of the boards, and some don't have them.
FR38410
FR38411
FR38407, FR38409 CoreLink Controller Issues: These cases did ship with the correct controller, however
RC had to work with AJ to connect to each case to verify programming, clear the logs, reset to factory defaults,
and address the controller. Rebooted to ensure address was saved.
FR38418 Heaters tripping Breaker: A new nosing A/S heater and a return glass grill A/S heater is needed
for this case. The breaker is tripping when the plug for the heaters is plugged in. It's shorted to the ground.
FR38421, FR38440, FR38441 Wrong ball valve location: Ball valve was located upstream to the solenoid
valve rather than downstream.
FR38421
FR38440
FR38431 Gaps in the case lid assembly: The case lid assembly frames have gaps gaps on the corners where
the end case and center case meet.
FR38432 gaps in the case lid assembly: the cases lid assemblies have gaps between the top of the frame
sections for the center case. The T molding provided for this joint is not sufficient to cover the gaps. There are
also gaps where the center case and FWE end cases meet.
FR38446 Incorrect hardware sent with partition: Incorrect hardware sent with partition. All thread is too
short, and no nuts and washer were sent
FR38275 FW glass channel uneven: FW12 channel where the glass sits is uneven and bows in the center
which causes the glass to sit unevenly. The glass does not adhere to a uniform level and cannot be further
adjusted, which causes a large height deviation while lining up glass and handrails to adjacent cases.
Furthermore, this causes an issue when joining the handrails with the joining cover. This was observed on
multiple cases at this site.
FR38548, FR38549, FR38571, FR38572 Wrong color top rails: The handrails came in grey and not white

FR38487 Dixell Controller failure: From the installing contractor: We have another bad case controller over
at our TraderJoes 353. The case number is above. The case will work until it ices up again. The issue is the
solenoid is being sent constant voltage, so it is not defrosting properly. We will need another case controller
asap. Controller M/N: XM679K
MY22K090160, F8G00M, 742357
FR38545 Unfinished Lid rear: The case was ordered with Lids, but there is nothing closing the back side off.
This is an end case that has a lid and the parent case does not. This configuration was not considered when kits
were set up. See Email for solution

FR38550 SS Rail top heaters: The heaters on the FW cases are either not working or they have hot and cold
spots in them. Dave Martin noticed this during store opening.

FR38555 Case Penetration: There is an unsealed penetration in the bottom of the case that is directly above
the electrical box that houses the case controller. This penetration will let moisture directly into the box during
defrost cycles. Possibly the cause of the controller failures we have been having at this store.
FR38574 Defrost Htr Failure: Per contractor they had a coil heater on a FW12G case fail. Contractor
reported that they had spent a few hours trouble shooting the defrost on this 12' case and one of the FWG's.
They found several lose wiring connections at the terminal blocks. No pictures.
FR38625 Dixell Controller Failure: Per tech, another Dixell Controller has failed.
