CMO Today: It’s Time for Apple’s Next

Disruption
This article is chosen from the Walls Street Journal and the Mike Shield is the author of

this article. This article is about the Apple smart watch. The author explained that since last a

few years there is the improvements in technology especially in mobile phones and computer

related products. Many of the companies are in the field are engaged with respect to these

innovations, inventions and modification. Recently a mobile company Huawei launched its

product, look like a wrist watch and having all the features of mobile in that watch which got

high motivation from customers and users and the customers highly motivate the efforts of that

company regarding this. So, for this purpose and due to competition in market Apple

Corporation also launched its product named smart watch on Monday 10th of March 2015.

Apple made a new smart watch with hoping to create a new category and included all

features of android or I-Pad. People are now highly excited after the invention of this product in

the market. Apple is a company which is engaged in the production of technical and electronic

products i.e. mobile phones, I-Pads and laptops etc. If people will take to the Apple watch in

larger number retail brands will be ready to jump in store pricing and all targeted people will

attract them and starting using of such an incredible product. (Shields, 2015)

Many innovations have been created in this watch from apps to software everything is

new and modified and for the benefit of the customers. At the time of launching CNN, eBay,

New York Times, Chinese messaging app, we-Chat, American Airlines, HBO and many more

apps were included in a single wrist watch. Even the consumers of using this watch can easily be

using the articles of Walls Street Journal. This is a new step towards future which shows that

there are many innovations ahead of us regarding the development of our daily using cell phones

and cell phones related products.

We can expected that there will be more and more in our future and our future is bright

regarding our connection with one an each other. Many questions are still in the mind of people

that whether they shop service through watches and whether the watches will be able to use for

the publication of micro apps and we will consume articles via watches? It is hope that might the

scientists and other researcher might be make this type of watches which fulfills the need of

people and provide the answers of these questions.

The great objection on this article is that the author cannot clear the sense of his writing

like what is the impact of his text and what will be the impact of his article on the mind of people

and the other readers of this article. Another drawback of this article is that the author just quotes

the importance of the Apple watches but he did not talk about the loop holes of those watches. It

is also a fact that if there is any benefit in a product then it is also the possibility of the drawback

of the certain product but the author only told us about the advantages as well as the features of

the smart watches but didn’t mention the disadvantages.

From the above discussion it can be concluded and I analyzed from the above discussion

that this article is best regarding the discussion of the whole scenario but the article is not discuss

the whole aspects of the case. Moreover the writer is one of the most important and the most

responsible writer of the Walls Street Journal but there are some drawbacks in the article

according to my opinion which can be recoverable. If the writer focused the whole aspects of the

articles then it will become the most important article not only for the users, customers but also

for the producers because they can cover the whole drawbacks in the next coming production of

their smart watches.
