 WHAT IS THE THE RULE OF LAW?


The Rule Of law,in its most basic form,is the principle that no one else is above the law.
The rule follows logically from the idea that truth,and therefore law,is based upon fundamental
principles which can be discovered,but which cannot be created through an act of will

 HUMANITY
Humanity is a human race which includes everyone on earth.
It’s also a word for the qualities that make us human,such as the ability to love,be creative,be kind
and have compassion.

 WHAT IS A RIGHT?
A right is something that has been granted by statue(an Act passed by governing body) or
regulation

 WHAT IS FREEDOM?
Freedom is the power to act without unfair interference by an individual or the state. Freedom is
neither created by law nor is it absolute. It can be limited by statue if the limitation is found by the
courts to be justifiable.

 WHAT IS THE UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS?


The Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) is a milestone document in the history of
human rights. Drafted by representatives with different legal and cultural backgrounds from all
regions of the world, the Declaration was proclaimed by the United Nations General Assembly in
Paris on 10 December 1948 (General Assembly resolution 217 A) as a common standard of
achievements for all peoples and all nations. It sets out, for the first time, fundamental human rights
to be universally protected and it has been translated into over 500 languages.

 WHEN WAS THE UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS DRAWN UP?


The Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which was adopted by the UN General
Assembly on 10 December 1948, was the result of the experience of the Second World
War.
