Do you think the Laguna Copperplate Inscription can be an example of a primary

Yes of course. What’s written in the copperplate is what we called history. It is a primary evidence
that the Philippines, long before the colonial period, were already occupied by people from other
countries. It is an evidence that there is already a government here in the Philippines. And Also it
is considered as a Primary source because it was never a reference or a journal from another
source, it is the source of information itself.

2. What is the historical importance of the context in the Sixteenth Century in the
Philippines by William Henry Scott in Philippine History?

It serves as the medium in understanding the pre-colonial period. Providing contextual


information for the Philippine history. It guides knowledge to a falsifiable information, specially
the coming of Magellan. It also serves as the window of history where we can see how our
language, culture, politics had changed due to cultural adaptation and integration. It also gives as
a knowledge of how we were treated as useless piece of a pawn due to our skin color and human
capacity.
