Step 1: If students have written (3 to 4) lines about system understanding. 0.5

Step 2: Individual component roll There are three basic components that they 0.2x3=0.6

must explain. (Diving board, rollers, and hinges)

Step 3: Draw the isometric view diagrams (Total three components). 0.2x3=0.6

Should be properly drawn with a pencil.

Step 4: This step is related to basics and fundamental understating (Three components). 0.33x3=1

Step 5: Free body diagram. (Diving Board-0.4, Roller-0.3, hinges-0.3). 1

Step 6: Calculating the reaction/forces. 1

Step 7: Note-Do not cut students' marks if they haven't made deflection diagrams. 2.5

Step 8: If students have given the justification for suitable material selection. 2

Step 9: Factor of safety. 0.5

Step 10: Rest marks are given for figuring out the dimensions of the components. 5.3
