The novel that I read is ‘Sing To The Dawn’ written by Minfong

Ho. The character that I respect from this novel that I have read is
Dawan. Dawan is a young girl who lives in the village with her family.
She has a young brother is Kwai. She gets first place in government
examination and wins a scholarship to continue to study in the City.

Dawan is loving and caring because she is thinking about her

brother because Kwai is sad because he does not has a scholarship to
study in the City because he gets second place in government
examination. She is loving and caring also she bring umbrella for Kwai
because she is worries that he would fall ill sitting in the rain.
