 Summary
Against all odds
Dawan walks home haltingly in the rain because of
her hurt ankle. She fears also the questioning and
confrontation she will have to face from her
parents.so, she heads for the river and is
unsurprised to see Kwai on the bridge. Knowing they
have clear the air between them, she joins Kwai. The
latter is thinking about Dawanword, about him being
a bully and how his ideals seem to have soured
easily. Dawan points out to him that he should not be
saying one thing and doing another. Then, she leaves
the umbrella for him and leaves. Kwai does not even
notice the umbrella in his hand until Dawan reaches
the bottom of the bridge. Kwai looking at his sister
whom she has hurt physically, limping home wet,
cold and tired, comes to a decision. He runs home

 SETTING

At The river bank

 THEME
Theme of sacrifice
Dawan sacrifice her own umbrella for Kwai to use when
she was heading home. Even when her brother did all the
thing to her. She still forgive him and help him.
Theme of stubborn
When Dawan ask him to go home as it was r aining cats
and dogs, he insisted on staying on the bridge. He should
listen to her sister advice and not be so stubborn
Theme of loving
Dawan was worried that her brother would catch a cold in
the rain. Secondly, she went up to Kwai who was sitting
out in the storm even though she had a cut on her ankle.

 MESSAGE
Love our family members Dawan still cared for her brother
as she though to herself that her brother will catch a horrible
cold sitting out on the bridge like that. Similarly, Kwai also
cared for her sister as he asked Dawan if her ankle hurt.
Sacrifice Dawan sacrifie her own umbrella for kwai to use
when she was heading home. Even when her brother did all
things to her, she still forgive him and help him.
Dont be stubborn When Dawan ask her brother to go home
as it was raining cats and dogs, he insisted on staying. He
should listen to her sisters advice and not be so stubborn.
Forgive each other Both brother and sister seem to forgive
each other as they broke into a grin. We must forgive each
other hurt and hatred had already been generated between
the two of the will gone.
 Values
1) Strong and close family ties should
be the norm in every society.

speaks louder than words.
3)Take time to appreciate nature.
