THE FORGETFUL MAN

The Forgetful Man

A man named Josh lived in a city named Salinferan.

He was an honest and diligent man but something was
wrong with him. He always forgets everything. He
forgets whether he ate breakfast! Because of this,
he eats it twice! His friends understand his condition
except for Susan.

Susan is Josh’s wife and the love of his life. Susan

met him with all the best doctors in the city and
country but, it all went in vain. Her family asked her
to take a divorce because they thought he was doing
it on purpose. This made Susan doubtful whether he
is lying about his condition. But she boasted about
Josh all the time. Once with her friends, she boasted
about his salary, promotions, and upcoming vacations.

One day, Susan went to Josh to talk about plans for

tomorrow. She told, “Josh, you do remember
tomorrow is our anniversary? Any which ways, I was
hoping you will come tomorrow for dinner. I will invite
our friends and family. You will remember this okay?”
Josh said “absou-” “And if you forget, we are DONE
FOR GOOD.” Josh was now worried.

Later at night, he removed his best suit and a gift

for Susan so that he would remember. He wore his
tie and removed all of his best accessories. He was
dead to the world.

When he woke up, he was confused why did her

remove all of this. He guessed that Susan might have
removed it for him. But why? When he went on to
check, he saw Susan was not there. At night, she
wore the best dress and dazzling accessories. Susan
told him to drive as she was wearing heels. “Josh, you
did remember today’s dinner!” Josh looked at his
calendar and then realized why did he do all of this.

All of them had a great time. Josh handed over a

bouquet of roses and a diamond bracelet as a gift.
Susan was over the moon. Her uncle was a brain
doctor. Susan asked him to check on Josh. Her uncle
said that he needs some medicine and some time to
himself. Josh lost his memory loss issue and he lived
his life with Susan happily ever after.
