Executive Summary
A human resources information system (HRIS) is a software solution that maintains, manages, and processes
detailed employee information and human resources-related policies and procedures.
With a good human resources information system (HRIS) in place, your HR department can collect and
parse workforce data to streamline processes. By putting all relevant HR data in one location, an HRIS can
help keep your business properly organized and compliant with government regulations. When looking for
an HRIS, consider features such as automated applicant-tracking functions, payroll processing and

over two decades of experience in the domain of Human Resource and Fixed Asset Management. Our

Services provided by SPINE Technologies are HR Payroll, Leave Management, Time and attendance,

Flexisales Marketing Pvt. Ltd. decided to install an HRIS to make all the important HR operations
automated. The fundamental analysis helps the company to understand how the HRIS has helped its
employees with regards to, their leave balances, planning their leaves, applying for the leaves just at click,
and many more other features. It also helped the HR department as the payroll was fully automated. The
paperwork reduced as the documents could be uploaded on the employee’s profile.
The report deals with HRIS, Payroll management and off boarding. The research methodology for this
report is in the form of a questionnaire. I, interviewed the employees from the operations team of the
company as well as my fellow colleagues from the HR department to deduce the conclusion. This report of
fundamental analysis is done with the help of company analysis. The report would give the company an idea
about the installation process and the advantages of the HRIS to the company.

Chapter 1
The role offered in the internship was that of a Human Resource Intern. It was a work-
from-office internship. The work was to assist the local HR Team at Pune in a variety of
Operations initiatives. I was responsible for providing support in HR database building
and maintenance, data entry, record keeping, support department in carrying out revamp
of various human resources programs, policies and procedures for all employees,
auditing employee files, maintains accurate information in HRIS, support with HRMS
implementation and other administrative duties to the HR Operations and Systems
Team. I was also given a task of assisting the Payroll Executive in processing the payroll
for the Pune office for 400 employees. I also assisted in hiring for lateral and frontline
positions like Finance Manager, Research Analyst, MIS Executive, Human Resource
Business Partner, and many such roles. I was given a target according to the requirement
of the organization. I was formulating and revamping various policies that were
introduced and newly implemented in the organization. Apart from this, I also took care
of the documentation, on boarding, exit management and employee engagement of the
employees.
