Introduction
Starting a career after completing your undergraduate education is a huge milestone that
every student should experience at some point. During their time in school, they must
maintain a certain level of involvement in local or international organizations, whether
private or public. For my entry-level employment, I applied to Jamun IT Solutions by
emailing my résumé to the company's HR manager. When we first met, they inquired about
my review, why I chose Jamun IT Solutions for my temporary work, and how long it would
take for me to get a full-time position with the company.

Reasons for Choosing this Internship

In order to ensure that a business runs smoothly and efficiently, the administration of a
corporation includes all areas of administration. Being in charge of an organization's day-to-
day operations means making strategic decisions and allocating resources in a manner that
ensures the firm achieves its objectives. At every level of a company, administrative
functions are used. Business administrators are essential to the growth and success of any
organization since they are responsible for the day-to-day management and administration of
the company.

As a result of creating this action plan, I now have the ability to put my strategy into action in
order to attain my ultimate objective. Because of this, I've learned to keep my goals as
modest as possible, even if some of the abilities I thought were weak turned out to be
powerful. Making a strategy for my professional development will allow me to better
understand what employers are looking for in a candidate and set targets that are doable for
me in the short term.

My Objectives and Aim

I feel that a business coordinator or company administrator must possess certain talents to
properly perform their responsibilities. Good verbal and written communication and
computer fluency in a variety of programs are only some of the abilities needed to be a
successful leader in the workplace.
Additionally, I would like to emphasize that my business administration education from
Canada college has provided me with the information and skills necessary to operate a firm.
It has equipped students with a thorough grasp of organizational life and the skills to work
successfully toward organizational objectives. As a result, the course has been developed to
impart extensive knowledge on a broad variety of business operations-related subjects. It
helps you to develop expertise in your chosen sector of business and to operate successfully
in the workplace regardless of your title. As a result, I'm comfortable working. Additionally,
as a business administrator, coordinator, or manager, I am capable of working with the
majority of an organization's departments, including human resources, project management,
accounting, or operations. Studying business administration has provided me with an in-depth
understanding of a variety of company operations-related topics. Because it prepares students
with a varied skill set, the information obtained through this course has enabled me to reach
more than one sort of employment. Business Administration, in a word, boosts one's
marketability in the job market and gives professional prospects, work variety, and stability.

Company History

Jamun IT Solutions is an information technology consulting company with its headquarters in

Montreal, Quebec. Creating solid and long-lasting connections with customers is something
that the firm takes great pleasure in. The company's first focus is to fully grasp the
requirements of your organization.

The company's objective is to be the world's premier information technology consulting

organization. The company services enable our clients to take their businesses to the next
level by providing outstanding experiences for their consumers as we innovate to discover
new ways to serve them and their customers.

Description of the company

B2B firms play an important role in the city's economy. Jamun IT Solutions is one of these
businesses. This organization has received an average rating of 2 from Nice Local visitors
and conducts its operations in the city of Montreal. The company's objective is to become the
premier IT consulting firm in the world. Creating great experiences as the firm innovates to
discover new methods to serve its clients and consumers via their services in order to take
their business to the next level is important to them.
Services offered by the company

My objective is to become a full-time supervisor so that I can build more confidence in

myself and achieve my goals in the future, and I want to learn more about restaurant tasks
and enhance my leadership abilities in the process. I've always felt that a person should
always know and believe in himself, so that he understands how he will learn best and what
encourages him to study and make a difference, and that no one else can do it better than he
can. To be a successful leader, I must first develop the self-confidence essential to achieve
success; without it, we would be unable to achieve our goals, and when we are confident in
our ability to endure and not give up are more likely to do so.

Many various parts of job roles and management were exposed to me during my internship at
Jamun IT Solutions, including how business administration is performed and the duties that
need to be performed efficiently, in addition to the amount of effort that goes into each step.

The delegation was offered to me, and it included my leader and the head of a team
transferring work, duty, and power to a subordinate to make me accountable for the result of
the performance. This entails delegating a degree of decision-making autonomy and
encouraging the completion of certain activities in order to reach the desired goal. Delegation
is also a crucial duty in any organization, including educational institutions. Delegation helps
management to make the greatest use of their time and abilities while also ensuring that
employees and subordinates are aided in their growth and development while also developing
trust and confidence in the organization and raising the quantity of anticipated work to be
performed.

During my internship, a delegation of responsibility was accompanied by empowerment,

which allowed me to accomplish achievements that were crucial in a competitive sector.
Delegating tasks helps all stakeholders improve the degree of speed, responsiveness, and
customer happiness. Gradually, I came to understand that delegation fosters empowerment,
which is a powerful weapon that management and leadership may use to provide a team or an
individual staff member the flexibility and creativity they need to fulfill the strategic
objectives defined by the educational institution's administration. In the event of delegation of
authority, it is anticipated that management and leaders would evaluate the individual's
performance based on the milestone reports and outcomes, as well as the final reports
provided. It is critical that delegating enable conformity with the needed or stated method that
has been recognized by the educational institution. It is thus critical to guarantee that basic
everyday activities are outsourced to individual employees while also ensuring that they are
given the authority to carry out those duties.

What the company Offered during Internship

Over the course of the last two months, I've learned a lot about what it takes to be a
successful Business Administration intern. This has given me a better sense of the many
duties and responsibilities that I may possibly assume as a Business Administrator. On
reflection, I can say that my first day at the company was among the highlights of my
professional career to date. After being introduced to everyone, I was handed a tender to
work on, in which they asked me to provide ideas to strengthen individual sections of the
project, as well as my opinions on the project as a whole. Working on the tender, I was
allowed to leave the ship after receiving approval. Throughout the course of the project, there
was a lot of openness and willingness for me to contribute as much as I wanted. An instant
sense of security and confidence came over me as a result of this, Because of my supervisors
and directors' extensive industry expertise, I was reassured and supported throughout my first
week at work because I knew that my work would be double-checked and any questions or
concerns would be answered. Finally, I was able to finish the tender. When I saw and learned
from them, I picked up ideas and developed a broad range of skills, including how to
negotiate and interact with other firms and how to read and understand different types of
company plans. For the first time in my academic career, I was able to put my academic
knowledge to use in a real-world context. During my time with Jamun IT Solutions, I
discovered that projects may change radically and fast, particularly in the early phases of a
project. When I worked at Jamun IT Solutions, I came across this from my own experiences
and observations. As a result of this broad set of personnel, the company is able to provide
the client with a high-quality product on time. There are several benefits to a pleasant work
environment that may be achieved by using these strategies. The tasks I had to do varied from
day to day depending on which mail or paperwork needed to be completed on a priority basis
and need to do. Every so often, things slowed down enough to allow me to produce general
documents that the business needed to update, such as forms for working at heights and
working in tight spaces, as well as to verify the database to make sure it was all current
(White cards, Plant Operator Cards, and Medical checks). These experiences helped me get a
deeper knowledge of the company as a business entity, allowing me to participate in the
development of the company. When a tender deadline had to be met or a client required
something done quickly, these days were hectic to the point that I had to stay late to
accomplish the task a few times. Late-night study sessions in college and in the workplace
reminded me of my personal experience.

Typically, as an intern, I used to work nine hours a week alongside the organization's
workers. Interns were scheduled to work from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Each intern should be
required to perform a four-hour morning shift from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Lunchtime begins at
precisely 1 p.m. and is typically one-hour long. After lunch, the office is open from 2:00 p.m.
until 5:00 p.m. Additionally, each intern must cycle among all departments in order to get a
comprehensive understanding of each. Each intern must spend at least one week in a single
department and must report to the supervisor after each day's assignment.

Mission And Responsibilities

I was tasked with the primary responsibility of providing office services via the
implementation of administrative systems, processes, and policies; handling a suggestion
programme, and monitoring administrative developments and tasks.

The Administrative Coordinator's job responsibilities included the following:

 Marinating administrative efficiency by analyzing techniques, reducing costs,

and improving reporting procedures.
  Examining operational methods, research the use of microcomputer and
software technologies, assess people and technology needs, and then put those
changes into action.
 Providing knowledge, training, and coaching to help administrative employees
grow into their full potential.
 Identifying and communicating solutions to administrative issues by
examining information.
 Customers, management, and staff are kept in the loop by regular interaction,
research, and development of new services and processes; defining priorities;
and addressing issue situations.
  Marinating the suggestion system in compliance with management directions
by guiding and supervising administrative technological elements.
  Answering queries and requests for information.
 Documents and communicates to management what needs to be done;
discovers inconsistencies, and determines what is required for the future.
 Administrative policies, procedures, techniques, and guidelines are researched,
developed, written, and updated; they are communicated to management.
  Advises on and implements changes to existing systems as well as new
technology and resources to complete administrative projects on time and
under budget.
   Achieving the goals of the department and the company as a whole.

Specific Objectives

Working hours are strictly adhered to at the Jamun IT Solutions, according to the company's
code of practices, which includes each employee at the Jamun IT Solutions is required to
arrive at their respective departments on time or early in order to begin their shifts. While the
number of hours available to work may vary among individuals working in the same
organization, the Working Time Regulation (1998) in Montreal allows students to work for
more than eight hours per day. As a result, a student on placement may be permitted to work
up to eight hours per day on the job in Montreal.

It is required of the learner to respect and protect the confidentiality of all matters about the
company while on placement. Working in a company, it is possible for the learner to become
more knowledgeable about the company, provided that the employee keeps all information
confidential, as leaks may provide competitive advantages, particularly if the information
falls into the wrong hands, such as those of rival organizations in the industry.

Development Methods

Throughout my internship, I came to realize that the workplace has evolved into a learning
environment similar to that of a traditional classroom environment. Labor-based learning,
according to Ruth Heyler, is defined as what is learned via the process of doing work for
someone else. To acquire experience and enhance talent, it is recommended that you practice.
This is exactly what work-based learning offers. Observing a formal approach to work-based
activities such as planning, carrying out activities, and reflecting on the benefits of activities
to the company as well as the learner helps to improve learning. Learners develop skills and
enhance their knowledge as a result of workplace supervision, and they also profit from the
assessment of the activities they do in this setting. In recent years, there has been a significant
increase in the popularity of work-based learning. For students who are preparing to enter the
workforce or who are currently employed, it is seen as a method of providing personal and
professional growth. Employees who have gained work-based learning experience are more
likely to obtain a competitive edge in the workplace in the future. To keep up with the rising
pace of technology development and market reactions, an ongoing commitment to innovation
is required in the workplace. When it comes to offering innovative help to individuals and
businesses, work-based experience is critical.

Furthermore, work-based learning is advantageous to both the learner and the organization
that is providing the placement. For example, in my placement, the anticipated activities in
which I will be participating will assist the firm in making appropriate performance choices
based on reports from the operations department. I will be responsible for delivering reports
to upper management. I will learn how to operate with certain professional applications that
are utilized in the retail industry. This will boost my marketability as well as provide me with
a competitive advantage while I am performing for employment.

In my internship, I learned about codes of practice and gained knowledge concerning codes
of practice, which differ from organization to organization, however, it is nevertheless
conceivable for two or more organizations to have codes of practices that are comparable.
Nevertheless, the company's code of practices dictates how employees should behave and
how they should interact with one another. Their specific focus is on the dos and don'ts inside
the company. Employers require all employees, whether on a permanent contract or during an
internship, to adhere to the code of practices in place.

Learning and Personal Assessment of the Internship

All through the process, over time I have found and learned that I am an active change agent
because I am an extremely motivated learner who uses a range of learning methods. As a
student, I get the opportunity to practice and reflect on what I've learned, as well as discover
new techniques and ideas. When I'm done with my internship, I'll have gained a greater
knowledge of the organization and the individuals that rely on it. Emotional intelligence
requires a high level of self-awareness, which this exercise has helped me achieve. In
addition, it sharpens my ability to think creatively and motivates my co-workers to become
more involved in their work. Efforts to improve the situation were not made. In order to
better understand the project, I used to build and analyze the action plan in order to have a
better understanding of how the activity should be scheduled. As part of planning, it's
necessary to establish the scope of the project, review the project's timeframe, and break
down major tasks into smaller tasks.

While working as an intern, I discovered that understanding the allocated task and developing
appropriate action or work plans may assist to increase efficiency while also increasing
flexibility. Working in a collaborative environment enables work to be carried out by various
individuals in diverse ways, increasing the likelihood of success and achieving desired
results. In addition, there is a promotion of teamwork since other members of the institution
are encouraged to participate in handling additional obligations as well. This also leads to a
more even distribution of workloads. It provides for a more equitable distribution of duties
and workload. The task is allotted to each person, and each individual receives a fair amount
of the work that must be done by the whole team. Additionally, there is the opportunity to
establish good communication. The detailed work plans and organizing help in better
considerate and clear focus in an understanding of the goals that a person is expected to
accomplish. This allows doing the allocated with ease.

Development of professional Management skills

Interacting with customers via a variety of channels of contact has provided me with a better
understanding of ever-increasing client handling, which is the most crucial component in any
linked company or organizational culture in today's connected world.

I've learned that having a structure in place is critical in order to guarantee that chances to
interact with clients are not lost. Customers have distinct requirements when it comes to their
interactions with businesses. To add to this, I discovered that doing administrative duties
today allows one to be more productive in today's fast-paced global environment by allowing
one to operate more efficiently in the modern-day workplace. This is due to the fact that
business administration courses are current and allow for a complete grasp of the dynamics of
organizational operations to be gained via them. Moreover, it improves critical thinking
abilities, increases one's self-confidence, and improves one's ability to communicate and
interact with others, as well as one's ability to be creative, all of which are necessary for
success in the contemporary office environment.

The following were some of my overall or all-around learning experiences throughout my

internship: - Office management, filing, reception, bookkeeping, expertise in MS Office,
communication, attention to detail, time management, problem-solving, multi-tasking,
reporting, researching, ordering, invoicing, order management, billing, scheduling, typing,
computer skills, etc. Even once, I was given the chance to submit an application form for the
position of volunteer coordinator. An offer of employment might be made as a result of this.
Networking opportunities abound when you spend time with colleagues while on placement.
An important part of my preparation for the future is networking with people in the subject
I'm pursuing.

Challenges During Internship

There's no denying that the internship environment had undergone major changes. Internships
that used to be entry-level positions have been transformed into internships without paid
vacation or benefits. The number of college grads in the workforce has increased (more
hooves in the watering hole). The unpaid internship is a crucial step for a paid internship in
many areas. After two months of my own internship experience and listening to friends talk
about their internships during happy hours, I've learned that interns may anticipate a few
typical difficulties.

1. Due to the volume of the curriculum, internships must be completed within a certain
amount of time. It is possible that a student's increased workload is due to a variety of
factors including their own learning style (slowness), the supervisor's (lack of
experience in the classroom), the educational institution's (unclear learning objectives
and/or purposes, a lack of cooperation with the internship provider), or the internship
provider's (the activity or process they are learning).
2. Internship bases, administrative interests, and research-based interests all compete for
the attention of a trainee over the course of his or her training. Internship providers
prioritize their own interests and requirements above those of the learners when faced
with conflicting expectations and demands.
3. Companies are based on circumstances, not learning goals, which makes it more
difficult to determine the purpose of the internship and to map out the schedule.
Supervisors should consider internship provider options and set matching goals to
ensure that learning objectives are attained if an appropriate traineeship basis has been
selected while constructing the teaching environment.
Overall Experience
This temporary employment was an out-of-the-ordinary experience for me in its entirety. I
gained a wealth of knowledge and information, learned skills, and encountered a diverse
range of people. Additionally, I mastered a variety of acquisition and interpersonal skills. I
realized that motivating myself for this endeavor would be difficult from the start. This one
started with some quite basic tactics and strategies that are anything from energizing, and it
took some time to realize that I would also demonstrate some more evolved and non-standard
ways.

Analytical fundamentals It is self-evident that research, finance, technology, teamwork,

consumer awareness, politics, economics, management, and human resources are the greatest
business strategies for the company and its future development, expansion, and
competitiveness.

This internship experience will be very beneficial for my future employment prospects since
the skills I gained throughout my internship will prepare me for a fantastic future position.
Now I've opted to continue working at Jamun IT Solutions as a receptionist since I have an
idea about the work I've done and, most importantly, it's relevant to my studies. Possibility of
advancement to supervisor in the future. Fieldwork is critical in an organization because it
provides guidance for successful and efficient operations.

Conclusion
For more than simply job experience, my internship offered the opportunity for personal and
social growth in a professional setting. When I was given the proper support in the form of
relevant feedback, reflection, and coaching, I was able to improve my high-level key abilities
such as interpersonal/teamwork communication, problem-solving/self-management,
employability skills necessary for real-life work, and planning and inventing. In addition to
enhancing my academic studies by providing me with fresh insights and practical experience,
my job experience has also allowed me to think critically about my work and make better
career selections because of my exposure to various industries, firms, and work cultures. One
of the most significant things I've learned throughout my time on my placement is that it's
alright to make errors, as long as I learn from them and don't make the same mistakes again.
