We aren’t born with self-discipline; it’s a learned behaviour. And just
like any other skill you want to master, it requires daily practice and
repetition. It must become habitual.
The habit loop is a great way to make new habits stick. All you need
to do is think of a reminder (anything that triggers your brain to start
a behaviour), then the habit (this is the behaviour you want to
cultivate) and lastly, a reward (a payoff that’s satisfying for you).
