CV BASED QUESTIONS
1. Tell me about yourself. Make a 30 sec & 90 sec version, to be used based on interviewer’s
interest. It is NOT a collection of facts or a summary of your CV! Use it to subtly answer the
question “Why should we hire you?”.
2. Tell us something about you that’s not on your CV. Can be anything interesting- a relevant skill,
a cause you’re passionate about, a quirky hobby etc.
3. WHY? ‘Why’ questions- Why Marketing? Why MBA? Why XLRI?
4. Online MBA journey so far?
5. Go through the written BQs submitted to CRISP.
6. End of an interview- Do you have any questions for us?

1. Read at least the company report before going into the interview. Know their COVID response.
2. Be well versed with the company’s brands. “What are your favourite brands/ad campaigns of
our company/in general?”
3. What is marketing? Sales? Difference?
4. How has COVID affected the company/that industry/FMCG? FMCG & e-Commerce?
5. Be thorough with PMK project & concepts used.
