1) Beginning: A fight between Lucien and Ender breaks out in the schoolyard as the

teacher watches them demonstrate their abilities in a friendly match after school.

2) Middle: Ender beats Lucien. The teacher tells them about a school that can help improve
their abilities and combat.

3) End: Both Lucien and Ender decide to join the school

Beginning

Lucien is on the right and Ender is on the left. They are both facing each other. Sensei is leaning
on a gate close by.

Sensei- Are you ready?

Lucien - Yes with a serious face

Ender- Of course! as he has a smirk on his face

Sensei - "Remember no killing each other"

Both charge at each other landing direct hits on each other's faces.

Both fall back after taking the hit.

Ender and Lucien - SFX grunt/hmpf

Ender smiles when he gets hit in the face and in fights

Lucien has more of a serious and angry-looking face

Lucien puts his hands together and then makes a light spear.

Ender makes ice armor around his hand and wrist

Lucien - "I'll end this quickly", sfx clap, Claps hands together, and makes a spear out of light. sfx
whooshes, twirling spear in a circle

Ender - sfx clink, as the ice appears around his hands. "Neat trick"

Lucien charges at Ender.

Ender stays in a battle stance.

Lucien swings the spear.

Ender - Don't tell me that's all you got!!

Lucien jumps back.

Lucien continuously swings his spear at Ender.

Lucien continues swinging his spear

Lucien - "What's wrong? too afraid to attack" with a smile on his face

Ender gets a bit ticked off by that.

Ender has an angry face with a tick mark on his head.

Ender - "You're gonna regret that"

Ender decides he's had enough

Ender catches the spear and freezes the spear which shocks both Lucien and their sensei

Ender freezes Lucien's body leaving just his head poking out.

Ender points an ice shard at Lucien

Ender - "It's over"

Lucien - sfx sigh, I "surrender"

Page 9 - 4 panels

Ender smiles as he absorbs the ice.

Sensei - sfx hands clapped, "That was a well-fought battle by the both of you"

Close up on sensei, Sensei - "But…"

Sensei (with a serious face) - "Lucien you lack endurance and got weaker as you fought" says
while looking at Lucien.

Lucien has his head down looking a bit disappointed

Sensei turns to Ender, Sensei - "You may have won the fight but you relied too much on the hope
of Lucien running out of gas. That will get you killed by others."

As he is walking away Sensei - "To improve your abilities, I want both of you to try to get into
PIG Academy."

End

Ender and Lucien are at Ender's house at night time in a bedroom.

As they are both in their beds. Lucien - What do you think about what Sensei said?

Ender - "Hmm… Even though it's not guaranteed to get in it's worth a shot"

Lucien - "Well I guess that's where the wind blows."

Ender- "ehh" with a dumb face

Lucien - "nvm," says with eyes closed
