Designed by Gene Salvay and George Stark, a high-wing light aircraft called
the Skyranger could carry two people side by side. It had tailwheel and
standard landing gear. It was built with a steel tube fuselage covered in fabric,
a wooden wing with a semi-symmetrical airfoil cross-section, and a number
opposed Continental Motors and Franklin Engine Company engines with 65 to
90 horsepower each.
Designed by Jesse Anglen, Dave Loveman, and Ted Van Erp, and was
originally manufactured by Buzzman ARVS and later by L’il Hustler
Ultralight Aviation of Holland Landing, Ontario. Low cost, durability in the
trainer function, quick construction, and ease of maintenance were the design
objectives.
