Week 1
I. Objectives
At the end of the lesson, the students should be able to;
A. Distinguish the use of kitchen tools, equipment, and paraphernalia.
B. Demonstrate proper use of the kitchen tools, equipment, and paraphernalia.
C. Select an appropriate kitchen tool for a specific task.

II. Content
a. Subject Matter: Utilize appropriate kitchen tools, equipment, and paraphernalia.
b. Reference: TLE Grade 7 and 8 module.
c. Materials:
 Laptop (PowerPoint Presentation)
 Printed pictures.

III. Procedure

A. Preparation
 Prayer
 Greetings
 Classroom Management
 Checking of attendance
 Review

C. Motivation
Show pictures of kitchen tools and equipment and guess the name of the tool or equipment.

D. Discussion
Having the most essential coking tools in your cupboard will make your life so much easier.
Although the kitchen world comes out with sleek, trendy, and exciting kitchen gadgets all the time, that
doesn’t mean you need to buy every single one to be able to cook well. In fact, the most basic tools are all
you need to start cooking delicious meals.

It is important for students to learn and familiarize them with various kitchen equipment as it
would help them use tools and equipment properly especially at home.

G. Evaluation
Give at least 5 cookery equipment and their uses.
