LIFE TIMELINE OF JESUS

1. Jesus was born in Bethlehem to Mary and Joseph.

2. Jesus visited the temple in Jerusalem as a boy and amazes the teachers with his
understanding of the Scriptures.
3. Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist in the Jordan River, and begins his public
ministry.
4. Jesus performed many miracles, teaches about the kingdom of God, and gains many
followers.
5. Jesus entered Jerusalem while riding on a donkey and was welcomed by crowds who laid
palm branches and cloaks on the ground before him.
6. Jesus celebrated the Last Supper with his disciples. He was betrayed by Judas and
arrested that night.
7. Jesus was arrested by the authorities in Jerusalem during the week leading up to his
crucifixion. He was taken into custody and brought before the Jewish Sanhedrin for
questioning and trial.
8. After Jesus was arrested, he was subjected to various forms of physical and emotional
abuse, including beatings, mocking, and humiliation. He was beaten, whipped, and forced
to carry his own cross to the place where he would be crucified.
9. Jesus was crucified on a cross as part of his ultimate sacrifice for the forgiveness of
humanity's sins. It is believed that through his death and resurrection, Jesus overcame
death and sin and opened the way to eternal life for all who believe in him.
