Sri D.Radha Krishna, Central Committee General Secretary, TSPEU (1535) The Scales of Pay and Allowances of Employees were revised with effect from 01-04-2018 on the basis of Memorandum of Settlement signed on 05-09-2018. The said settlement was operative upto 31.03.2022 AN. The Unions/Associations requested to constitute a Committee for negotiations with Unions/Associations on revision of Pay Scales and allowances, 2022. Accordingly, the TSTRANSCO has constituted a committee vide 7.0.0. (Jt.Secy-Per) Ms.No.3367 dt.30-05-2022 to make a thorough study and make its recommendations on the Revision of Pay and Allowances of all categories of employees working in TSGENCO, TSTRANSCO, TSSPDCL & TSNPDCL. The Employees’ Unions submitted their proposals on Wage Revision'2022. The Pay Revision Negotiating Committee held series of discussions with the representatives of the Employees Unions/ Associations from 18-10-2022 to 03-11-2022. 2 11 Negotiation Committee'2022 has recommended @ 5% 2. The Pay Revisio1 Joint Action Committees (JACs} were held on fitment. Thereafter, meetings with the ; 01-02-2023, 06-03-2023, 10-03-2023, 13-03-2023, 29-03-2023 with the Chairman & Managing Directors / TSGENCO & TSTRANSCO & CMDs of TSDISCOMs Thereupon, the Management during the negotiations with the representatives of JACs has offered fitment @ 6%. 3. Thereafter the representatives of TSPEJAC have met the Hon’ble Minister for Energy, Government of Telangana on 09-04-2023. The Hon'ble Minister for Energy has offered the fitment of 7%. 4. The Pay Revision Negotiating Committee'2022 convened meeting with the ‘Telangana Electricity Employees JAC on 15-04-2023, wherein consensus has been reached ‘The following demands are agreed _: i, Fitment @ 7%, duly merging DA existing as on 1-4-2022 ie., 24.992% ii, The issue of EPF to GPF will be placed in the Board Meeting and recommendations will be submitted to Government of Telangana. |. Single Master Scale for Workmen & Other than Workmen iv. Artisan Personal Pay will be merged with Basic Pay. GO for HRA & CCA on par with Government of Telangana will be adopted with appropriate ceiling. vi. Gratuity on par with Government ie., Rs.16.00 lakhs. vii. Additional Quantum of Pension on par with Government. Medical facility ceiling limit (General): Rs.10 lakhs (for life time) Rs.2.00 lakhs (for life time) Medical Facility ceiling limit (major ailments) : a. Employees = —_ Rs.15.00 lakhs (for life time} (@ max. Rs.5.00 lakhs for each spell) a. Employees b. Artisans ix. Self Funding Medical Scheme Employees/Artisans/Pensioners : __Rs.12.00 Lakhs (employee/artisan / pensioners contribution @ Rs,1,000/- p.m.) 3 x. ENT/Dental / Eye ailments Enhanced from Rs.15,000/- to Rs.50,000/-. Above Rs.50,000/- will be met from SEMS. xi, Service Weightages to Employees a. Oto S years 1 (one) increment b. Syearsto 15 years; 2 (Two) increments c. Above 15 years : 3 (Three) increments Service Weightages to Artisans: 2 (Two) increments ‘The existing allowances shall be continued with existing rates. It is agreed to continue the existing percentage / allowances of TSGENCO on the Revised Pay Scales 2049, 2°72 xv. Effective Date & Monetary Benefit: With effect from 01-04-2022. xvi. PRC’2022 arrears shall be paid in 12 equal instalments. xvii, Date of Fixation: The Pay of the Employees in the Revised Pay ‘Scales-2022 shall be fixed with effect from 01.04.2022 or on the date of increment as opted by the employees on or before 31.03.2023. xviii, Period of Settlement: This settlement shall be in force for a period of Four (4) years from 1-4-2022. Consequently, the Unions/Associations have withdrawn the proposed strike from 17-04-2023 and expressed to extend their support to. Management/Government for smooth functioning of the Power Utilities.
