Arena and Parks Operator | Town of High Prairie
Operated the Zamboni (Olympia) during the hockey season and light machinery in the summer.
Responsible for locking and arming the security system at night. Supervised new employees that were
hired and helped manage the arena. Was the Safety Manager responsible for the Arena and Baseball
Diamonds. Have been a referee for minor hockey since I was seventeen.

September 2010 – May 2011

Early Literacy Instructor | Grouard Northland School

Involved in helping students in Grade 1-6 who needed special attention for reading needs. Worked
with students in one-on-one sessions focusing on specialized reading exercises. Kept track of each
students individual progress and reported that to their home room teacher.

May 2008 – September 2010

Museum Interpreter/Aide | Native Cultural Arts Museum

Provided walking tours of both the museum and adjacent St. Bernard’s Church. Developed educational
programs used by visiting schools to teach them about significant historical practices in the area.
Handled artifacts and was involved in record keeping as well as gift shop book keeping.
