I believe in God, the Father Almighty,
Creator of heaven and earth.

He descended to hell.

Meditate on Blessed Virgin Mary to whom the Angel
Gabriel announced the Good News that she would
conceive and deliver Jesus, the Son of God.
Mother Mary, help us to fulfill the will of God in
everything just as you yourself surrendered fully to the
divine will.

Second Joyful Mystery – The Visitation
Let us meditate on Blessed Virgin Mary who went to
visit and nursed her cousin Elizabeth for three months,
hearing that she is pregnant in her old age.

with genuine love.

Third Joyful Mystery – The Nativity
Let us meditate on Blessed Virgin Mary who gave birth
to child Jesus during midnight at a manger in the town
of Bethlehem.

hands of God.

Fourth Joyful Mystery – The Presentation of Jesus in
the Temple
Let us meditate on Blessed Virgin Mary who dedicated
child Jesus to God through the hands of Simeon on the

Mother Mary help us to acknowledge all that we have
as free gifts from God and dedicate to Him everything in
our life.

Fifth Joyful Mystery – The Finding in the Temple
Let us meditate on Blessed Virgin Mary who lost Jesus
at the age of twelve and found him out at the temple of
Jerusalem after searching for three days.
Mother Mary, help us to be united with Jesus in our
daily life keeping ourselves away from the evil things
and welcoming all that will lead us to Jesus.

The Sorrowful Mysteries (Tuesday, Friday)
First Sorrowful Mystery – The Agony in the Garden
Let us reflect on the sorrowful mystery that Jesus
sweated blood while he was praying in the Garden of
Gethsemane.
Mother of Sorrows, help us to grieve over the sins of all
humanity and atone for it through our sufferings.

Second Sorrowful Mystery – The Scourging at the Pillar
Let us reflect on our Lord Jesus Christ who was cruelly
scourged by the soldiers at the palace of Pontius Pilate.

avoid all indecent behaviors, obscenities and unholy
comforts from our homes.

Third Sorrowful Mystery – The Crowning with Thorns
Let us reflect on our Lord Jesus Christ who was made to
wear a crown of thorns by the soldiers in order to mock
him.

acknowledge your son, Jesus as our king. Help us to
accept his kingship ever more completely in our mind
and heart dedicating ourselves fully to his reign.

Fourth Sorrowful Mystery – The Carrying of the Cross
Let us reflect on the sorrowful mystery that Jesus, after
being sentenced to death, was made to carry his cross
to Golgotha.

sorrows that we face in our daily life with the cross of
your son.

Fifth Sorrowful Mystery – The Crucifixion
Let us reflect on Jesus, who was nailed on to the cross in
between two thieves.

evil desires.

First Glorious Mystery – The Resurrection
Meditate on the glorious mystery of Jesus Christ’s

and failures of day-to-day life with the faith in your son,
our Lord Jesus Christ.

Second Glorious Mystery – The Ascension
Meditate on the glorious mystery that Jesus Christ
ascended into heaven on the 40th day after his

Third Glorious Mystery – The Coming of the Holy Spirit
Meditate on Blessed Virgin Mary and apostles who
received Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost as was

that the same Holy Spirit is indwelling in our souls
thereby making us the temples of the Holy Spirit.

Fourth Glorious Mystery – The Assumption
Meditate on the glorious mystery of Mother Mary’s
Assumption to Heaven at the end of her earthly life.

The Luminous Mysteries (Thursday)
First Luminous Mystery – The Baptism of Jesus
Meditate on the Luminous mystery of Jesus baptism.
When the heavens were opened and the Spirit of God
descending like a dove on Jesus, and alighting on Him, a
voice from heaven, saying “this is My beloved Son, with
whom I am well pleased.” Let us ask Mother Mary for
the grace to be open to the changing power of our Lord
in our hearts.

Second Luminous Mystery – Wedding at Cana
Meditate on the Luminous mystery when Mother Mary
said to the servants, “Do whatever He tells you”. Jesus
said to them, “Fill the jars with water.” And they filled
them up to the brim. Let us ask Blessed Virgin Mary to
intercede on our behalf in all our times of need so that
Jesus may bring light and love in our dark moments.

Third Luminous Mystery – Proclaiming the Kingdom
Meditate on the Luminous mystery of Jesus words “And
preach as you, saying ‘The kingdom of heaven is at
hand.’ Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse lepers, cast
out demons. You received without pay, give without
pay.” Let us ask for a spirit of repentance and trust in
God’s mercy as we seek to be with God through all our
actions.

Fourth Luminous Mystery – Transfiguration
And as He was praying, the appearance of His
countenance was altered and His raiment became
dazzling white. And a voice came out of the cloud
saying, “This is My Son, My chosen; listen to Him!” We
ask Mother Mary for the grace to allow the
transforming light of the Lord’s presence to enlighten
our vision.

Fifth Luminous Mystery – Institution of the Eucharist
And He took bread, and when He had given thanks, He
broke it and gave it to them, saying, “This is My body
which is given for you.” And likewise, the cup after
supper, saying, “This cup which is poured out for you is
the new covenant in My blood.” We pray for a stronger
faith in the presence of our Lord in the gift of the
Blessed Eucharist we receive.
 Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy, Spiritual vessel,
our life, our sweetness and our hope. Vessel of honor,
To you do we cry, poor banished children of Eve. Singular vessel of devotion,
To you do we send up our sighs, Mystical rose,

Mother most amiable, Lamb of God, who takes away the sins of the world,

Mother of our Creator, Pray for us, O holy Mother of God.
Mother of our Savior, That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.
Virgin most prudent,
Virgin most venerable, Let us pray,
Virgin most renowned, O God, whose only begotten Son, by His life, death, and
Virgin most powerful, resurrection, has purchased for us the rewards of eternal
Virgin most merciful, salvation. Grant, we beseech Thee, that while meditating
Virgin most faithful, on these mysteries of the most holy Rosary of the Blessed
Mirror of justice, Virgin Mary, that we may both imitate what they contain
Seat of wisdom, and obtain what they promise, through Christ our Lord.
