plant-based tacos.

Ingredients
1 ½ cup (1 3-oz. bag) Longève Zesty Taco
Plant-Based Protein Crumbles, dry

¾ cup hot water

1 Tbsp. vegetable or olive oil

Salt & freshly ground pepper, to taste

½ cup tomato sauce

1/3 cup vegetable broth

6-8 corn tortillas, soft or crunchy

1 cup shredded cheddar or Mexican blend


cheese

1 cup chopped tomatoes

1 cup shredded lettuce or cabbage*

INSTRUCTIONS

1 REHYDRATE ZESTY
TACO LONGÈVE
CRUMBLES in ¾ cup hot
water. Reserve seasoning packet.

2 HEAT OIL in a 12-inch


nonstick skillet over medium-high
heat.

3 ADD CRUMBLES,
SALT AND PEPPER,
AND TACO
SEASONING PACKET
to skillet and sauté for three minutes.

4 POUR VEGETABLE
BROTH AND
TOMATO SAUCE into
the skillet and stir well. Reduce heat
to medium-low, and simmer until
sauce has reduced and thickened,
about 3 to 5 minutes.

5 SPOON FILLING into


soft or crunchy corn tortillas and top
with cheese, tomatoes and lettuce
as desired.
