4. Help us, O God our savior,

they have defiled you holy temple, they have laid Jerusa lem in ruins.
round about Jerusalem, and there is no one to bury them.
the iniquities of the past;
because of the glory of your name;

They have given the corpses of your servants as food to the birds of heaven,
We have become the reproach of neighbors, the scorn and derision of those a round us.
may your compassion quickly come to us,
Deliver us and par don our sins

O LORD, how long? Will you be angry forever? Will your jealousy burn like fire?
