The K to 12 Program includes Kindergarten and 12 years of basic education to allow for adequate
time for concept and skill mastery, to grow lifelong learners, and also to prepare graduates for tertiary
education, center skill development, employment, and entrepreneurship. Children begin school at the age of
five and are given the tools they need to gradually adjust to formal education. According to research,
children who attended Kindergarten outperformed those who did not. Children who finish a standards-based
Kindergarten program are better prepared for elementary education. Early childhood education lays the
groundwork for lifelong learning and a child’s overall development. There are 4 components in curriculum.
First, The Language Learning process, a spiral progression to expose the learners into a wide variety of
concepts or topics and disciplines, until they mastered it by studying it over and over again but with different
deepening of complexity and learning will be taught in integrated way of connecting skills and knowledge
from multiple sources and experiences. Which simply means bridging connection between academic
knowledge and practical’s. As well, integration levels of difficulty are problems with age- appropriate
reading, spelling or writing. This disorder is not about how smart a person is, most people diagnosed with
learning disabilities have average to superior intelligence. The second component which is the Effective
language use, the learner-centeredness approach which views learners as active agents. They bring their own
knowledge, past experiences, education and ideas, this also has impacts on how they take new information
as they learn. The Contextualization of teaching learning task and activities as well, helps the learners to
acquire new skills and knowledge, which also develops their abilities and attitudes. The 3rd component is
Meaning through Language, Making meaning is central to children’s emergent literacy development by
which the teacher/student interpret situations, events, objects, or discourses, in the light of their previous
knowledge and experiences. Lastly, The Holistic Assessment, Which is an important aspect to ensure that
curriculum is designed to manifest real world task and provide challenging situations that stimulates the
students. Have you ever said, “I’m not good at learning new languages?” This is what my brain making a
prediction about my skill set. Another challenge to learning a new language is a lack of opportunity to
practice what you’re learning. We probably have heard that the easiest way to learn a new language is to
