Review

‘Bridget Jones's Diary’ is a 2001 romantic comedy film directed by Sharon

Maguire. It is based on Fielding's novel of the same name. It stars Renée
Zellweger in the lead role.

In this movie, a 32-year-old single woman is determined to improve herself.

Bridget has simple ambitions: to lose weight and find true love. She keeps a
personal diary which focuses on the things she wishes to happen in her life.

The film has a gripping storyline and well-developed characters. The whole cast
gives superb performances. Spectacular visual effects and suitable soundtracks
make it even more exciting. Excellent use of locations helps present a charming view of
London.

‘Bridget Jones's Diary’ is an interesting film. It encourages us to love ourselves and

never give up. That’s why I highly recommend it for everyone to watch.
