The story Shimenawa by Naoko Kumagai is a short story of

that reflects the culture of Japan. The story make us glimpse
their tradition in eating as well as the popular tie knot on
their country which is the Shimenawa. The moral lesson of
the story is to learn to obey with cultures. The parents or
relative should educate their children with those in proper
way and not by the means of hurting them.
