Q1 Identify the part of speech of the underlined word in each of the following sentences

Q.5. Edit the following paragraph in terms of punctuation and other grammatical issues

During the last decades both governments and companies have been committed to the
continuous checking of biological parameters which can prevent extra costs to administrations.
A very efficient way to address this issue was by designing biosensors. This study has reviewed
the advances in the development of biosensors based on optical fibre technology. However the
previous studies describing the use of optical fibre for detecting biomarkers has probably
blurred the main goal; obtaining portable, simple, easy-to-handle, and cost-effective
biosensors. In this regard this contribution has presented some optical fibre structures which
was analysed in terms of several optical parameters such as: sensitivity, quality factor, and
figure of merit.
