Basic layout of the plant:

The Mumbai plant is Involved in APIs Formations and is done using done classical organic
chemistry and fermentation process.
There are 3-unit block T1, T2, T3 where APIs are manufactured and there is Raw material
Receiving area, Warehouse, Control Room, Quality Control Laboratory which include
Microbiological Laboratory, packaging area and Shipment area.

The Basic layout of plant is as follows:


first the Raw material are received in the separate receiving area and after that they are
tested for quality and if they pass the test, they are sent to the production area T1, T2 or T3
according to the API formation. The Production areas are temperature, pressure control
rooms. The Production of the APIs are controlled through control room which is separate
from the production and the entire process can be controlled from here. After the
manufacturing they are sent for the testing are in quality Control Lab which also include
microbiological lab to check whether the product adhere to the specified norms or not.

Since the APIs are the raw material for other medicines and any deviation from the norms
can be costly for the company, so stringent norms are followed here. If they are passed then
it is sent to the packaging room where they are packaged in batches. Afterward according to
the order, they are out from the shipment area.
