velocity on the end with narrower diameter, where the pressure is 200 kPa? (2 marks)

Question 12:
a. Calculate the refraction angle of a light beam when passing from air to water impinging to the
water at an angle 30° to the normal, if refraction index of water is n = 1,3333 and refraction
index of air is n = 1,0003. And illustrate with a diagram (2 marks)
b. Calculate critical angle for internal reflection of air and benzene (C 6H6), if refraction index of
benzene is n = 1,5013 and refraction index of air is n = 1,0003. (1 mark)

An electron travelling parallel to the ground and due north enters a region of space in which
there is uniform magnetic field of 0.5 μT pointing straight up. The electron is travelling at a
speed of 1000 kms-1 .
